I like to say peanut butter,
potato and pineapple,
haven't quite figured out why,
I'm hoping it's not
just because I am crazy,
I am? Oh, no, oh my!
Well, at least I'm
letting you know,
that I'll never make much sense,
on every subject or belief
I'm always hopping
over both sides of the fence.
I'm fond of a world
that doesn't exist
and I'm always spending time there,
so if you're asking me why
I sound so insane,
The answer is probably "where?"

I like to say peanut butter,

That's actually a pretty good dish with a bit of tarragon, rosemary, mint, iodized sea salt, onion powder, and a hint of either white pepper or cajun seasoning :dontknow:

Or...

Garlic powder and rosemary by themselves seem to work with the pb, potato, and pineapple

I didn't know that was an edible dish! :) I myself would never eat it. I just like to say the words. I don't even like pineapples. :) I do like potatos and peanut butter, but not mixed together. That actually sounds kind of icky. :)

I'm sure you're not the only one that thought that peanut butter with potatoes sounded odd, but there's potato bread.  And it does no violence to that bread to have some peanut butter on it.  If I weren't a vegan, then I'd personally try eggs with peanut butter before I'd prematurely dismiss that as a disgusting dish 'cause ya just never know, and I've gotten away with so many other things where the only standard [socially acceptable] condiment has been ketchup or mustard for years, but where peanut butter wound up being a pretty surprising mix with it.  As soon as I say that almond butter's not any good with potatoes, then someone will inevitably show me the link to the recipe where potatoes are mixed with almonds in some salad.  I just haven't tried it yet.

Food preparation is a really good analogy for why people get stuck on ET or other areas of false doctrine.  They get comfortable with certain tastes and their limited thinking that's fear based doesn't like to entertain too many spices, herbs, and condiments that they've never heard of -- ESPECIALLY NOT WITH THIS DISH -- BLEH!!!  I've only gotten creative about what some would consider the bizzar since coming into UR since I realized that it was only my limited thinking that kept me from seeing it in the Scriptures that I knew and taught better than anybody in my previous limited associations.  I went through a season where everything was up for grabs, including orange juice with corn flakes, soda with corn flakes, etc.  Maybe that's just my personality type where I was successfully proven to have an area that was out of balance in my beliefs, so everything else needed to be re-analyzed.  Parsley on a peanut butter sandwich ain't the worst thing you could eat:-)  I am less creative these days, however.  It was a phase.
