Help me name my puppy !

I am not sure that naming an animal after a human is Godly practice.

God desires we subdue the animals, rather than elevating them to human status.

I remember naming a dog after a mans name, (before I thought of this philosophy), some people were not keen on the idea either, so I changed a letter, so it no longer matched a mans name.

...ummm...
yeah, well... ok...
Given that philosophy; How much worse would it be to change the direction; Yet the Lord calls His Son the:

Lamb and Lion.
