To me it means the word is sweet to taste just like milk (salvation, God forgives us etc), but then afterwards we eat strong meat (sacrifice, lay down our lives/time, lay down sin etc) which is bitter to the belly, bitter to the flesh.

What Rev 10 means in context, I don't know.
The world is far wider, much bigger, and full of more beautiful things "outside the camp".
A broken pot lets light shine in, as well as letting it shine out.
Until we are made to be as pure and crystal clean as the transparent gems and gold of New Jerusalem...we must remain as broken clay jars, in order for the light to enter, and escape; illuminating us and around us.
Glass may be whole and shine at the same time, but clay must be cracked if it is going to let anything pass to and fro, from within it.
