My wife and I watched "The Exodus Decoded" on Hulu last night - it's worth a look, but I don't necessarily agree with all that the movie presented.  The most intriguing thing was the Egypt-Minoan and Israel-Mycenae connections.  The folks who made this movie may have missed a few things, but it seems that everyone who investigates lately picks up a few more clues.  It's well worth watching - check it out.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

 :cloud9: Thanks. I watch every documentary about any scrap of anything biblical. Sometimes they have a few tidbits, sometimes they're so far into their carnal minds it's ridiculous, but at least you can glean some historical facts along the way. I'll check it out.....blessings....

Awesome! I love history! and hulu is about all I watch..  thanks for posting about it! (the carnal mind loves to "decode" God's Word(s)! :eek: :doh: ..... :laughing7: but as you say, there's usually some facts that can be gleaned.. I'm especially interested in ancient history..
