I love this chorus...I love to praise God and pray for His whole creation when I hear it! :cloud9:

White Flag chorus from Passion
We riase our white flag
We surrender all  to You, all for You
We raise our white flag: the war is over
Love has come, Your love has won

We lift the cross lift it high, lift it high
We lift the cross lift it high , lift it high
We lift the cross lift it high, lift it high
We lift the cross lift it high, lift it high"

The Truth will set you free! 😃

Surrendering to Him, is always the answer, to anything that comes to us in life.

When we give it to Him, is when the miracles happen.

...5Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5 - 7

:dsunny:
7"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened....

Matthew 7:7 -8

I was amazed at the explicit UR content of this traditional hymn:

1
I cannot tell why He, whom angels worship,
Should set His love upon the sons of men,
Or why, as Shepherd, He should seek the wand'rers,
To bring them back, they know not how or when.
But this I know, that He was born of Mary,
When Bethl'hem's manger was His only home,
And that He lived at Nazareth and labored,
And so the Savior, Savior of the world, is come.

2
I cannot tell how silently He suffered,
As with His peace He graced this place of tears,
Or how His heart upon the Cross was broken,
The crown of pain to three and thirty years.
But this I know, He heals the broken-hearted,
And stays our sin, and calms our lurking fear,
And lifts the burden from the heavy laden,
For yet the Savior, Savior of the world, is here.

3
I cannot tell how He will win the nations,
How He will claim His earthly heritage,
How satisfy the needs and aspirations
Of east and west, of sinner and of sage.
But this I know, all flesh shall see His glory,
And He shall reap the harvest He has sown,
And some glad day His sun shall shine in splendor
When He the Savior, Savior of the world, is known.

4
I cannot tell how all the lands shall worship,
When, at His bidding, every storm is stilled,
Or who can say how great the jubilation
When all the hearts of men with love are filled.
But this I know, the skies will thrill with rapture,
And myriad, myriad human voices sing,
And earth to heaven, and heaven to earth, will answer:
At last the Savior, Savior of the world, is King.

That is so wonderful and beautiful. What is the name of it?

This song is written by a family friend, who is also a Lutheran Pastor. Again, the lyrics highlighted, would seem to point to Christian UR. Very interesting to see these things in a new light.

"The Lamb"

by Gerald Coleman

Stanza 1
The Lamb, the Lamb,
O Father, where's the sacrifice?
Faith sees, believes
God will provide the Lamb of price!
Worthy is the Lamb Whose death makes me His own!
The Lamb is reigning on His throne!

Stanza 2
The Lamb, the Lamb,
One perfect final offering.
The Lamb, the Lamb,
Let earth join heav'n His praise to sing.
Worthy is the Lamb Whose death makes me His own!
The Lamb is reigning on His throne!

Stanza 3
The Lamb, the Lamb,
As wayward sheep their shepherd kill
So still, His will
On our behalf the Law to fill.
Worthy is the Lamb Whose death makes me His own!
The Lamb is reigning on His throne!

Stanza 4
He sighs, he dies,
He takes my sin and wretchedness.
He lives, forgives,
He gives me His own righteousness.
Worthy is the Lamb Whose death makes me His own!
The Lamb is reigning on His throne!

Stanza 5
He rose, He rose,
My heart with thanks now overflows.
His song prolong
Till ev'ry heart to Him belong.

Worthy is the Lamb Whose death makes me His own!
The Lamb is reigning on His throne!
7"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened....

The Lamb, by Gerald Patrick Coleman

Just listened to this version. Not a great one. Sorry....the choir sounds like they are falling asleep.

The only other one I could find had talking taped on it, and was not good quality, either.

I will message Gerry, and see if he can send me a good version.

Sorry about that.  :gsad:

7"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened....

Thank you...the lyrics are, to me always the most important part.  I can tell they are both beautiful songs. The choir just needs more practice

Another version.

Some technical problems, but at least there is some vitality to the singing.

Hope you all enjoy. This is the only other YOU TUBE one I can find.
