Gary Amirault's Birthday Tribute from daughter

October 2:  See, Connect, Love Challenge

October 2 is my dad, Gary Amirault's, birthday.  He was by far the most influential person in my life.  I remember a talk we had in which he challenged me to slow down a bit, to pause and take the time to look someone in the eyes and really try to SEE them.  To look beneath all the ego layers and into the human, beyond the surface and into the hurts, fears, insecurities and other driving factors.  To see the hurting child behind the angry adult.  "Do you know how powerful it is when you pause and really look someone in the eyes and connect?"  he said.  My dad loved connecting with people and went out of his way to spread kindness, healing and love to those who needed it most. So today, in honor of my dad, as you cross paths with someone this week, please take a moment to pause, look someone in the eyes and really SEE them, find a connection and infuse a little love into their soul. Imagine what kind of a place the world would be if we all took the time to do this. Feel free to share or comment challenge accepted! Let's spread the love and help make this day a little more sweet. Happy Birthday, Dad!  Miss you like crazy!
