Demonic Attacks

G'day idon'tknow;
Please consider this a time of correction and the shaping of your character.
I was in spiritual warfare for some years. They use the law as legal footholds to invade your mind and life.
The sacrifice of Christ has paid in full for you- so no demon has any access, legally, to your life.
I am no longer in that warfare since being made aware of the depth of what Christ paid and accomplished for us all. Many churches are still in that bondage.

You seem to be in the process of having good and evil displayed before you so as to come to appreciate that Christ has completely paid for you. To learn to appreciate that gift there needs to be explanation of what the gift entails. Our Father is teaching us the difference between good and evil.
We are children of God through Christ- children get corrected- no correction/discipline is pleasant at the time, but develops our character and enriches our understanding and awareness as to the stability of our position in Christ- and God knows what is happening; this is all a time of learning for the coming ages when all this will be explained in full.

bound..sets him loose on the earth[of coarse God speaks of this as serving the purpose that he go to his doom.]  the gog/magog

battle also is connected with this. there remains the camp of the holy city that God loves still in the earth at the time this occurrs...

    the lawless one pays no attention to God's authority..but challenges it and wars against it....as in heaven..so also in earth.

It has shaped my character very much. I used to get hostile and hold grudges and could be very cold. I am no longer that person and i think UR is a big reason Jesus taught forgiveness and turning the other cheek. Heaven is going to be full of people you didn't think would be there lol.

Another thing i remembered about my past spiritual attack after trying to figure out why it happened to me. The first time i was questioning if God was real and it's a long story so i will make it short. I was in a chat room and a unknown person IM'd me and told me it could show me proof, Nothing happened.... The next night they asked me if i seen anything i told them no and they acted puzzled. I used to stay up late at night on the computer in chat rooms. This demon actually used my computer to communicate with me as if it were a person in a chat room. It asked me why i stayed up so late and told me i should be in bed. This was before i knew what i was dealing with though but i did find it odd. Even back then i did not find Jesus but this demon eventually left after a lot of torment. It was always at night and i would hear voices when trying to drift off to sleep of lots of voices speaking a language i couldn't understand. I think it was trying to drive me insane and i dont know how i made it though it.

Anyways... fast forward to my last attack. I was more mature and i had been very worried about a friend of mine who had been going though a lot of problems in her life. She was having health problems and there was nothing i could do for her. I felt completely hopeless shes a christian and i wanted to pray for her. I told her i wanted to pray but i told her i wanted to believe the prayer would work and since i was atheist even if there was a God he wouldn't listen to me because i dont truly believe in him. And the attacks started again but there was a good 10 year time span in between them.

But the thing with both attacks was i was questioning if God was real. I wish i could have had a positive experience and seen an angel instead of the demonic. But i realized the first time it happened i just thought i was going crazy i couldn't accept what was happening was real. I almost didn't accept it the last time i just decided to really seek out God and try to understand why this happened to me. I dont think a positive experience would have had the same effect that the negative one had.

There was some really odd things that happened in both attacks that i just wont get into. One of them predicted a future event 6+ months before it happened. I was literately shocked when it came full circle and the weird things like this had me questioning if Demons knew the future or if free will existed. After some research i found out they do not, not even Satan knows the future only God. And it was done in a way God knew i would understand it he knows how my mind works. His fingerprints were on some of the things that i just cant deny even if i wanted to. I realize now that God did it out of love and the bad parts of the experience was conviction of sin and it just had to happen.

My religious experience was going pretty well until i watched a video about end of days which i knew some about. But the preacher was talking about the 1000 years peace on earth. And how God would once again turn Satan loose one last time. And that on the day of judgment families would be ripped apart because some would go to the lake of fire. All i could think about is my family and how some of us might be ripped apart and burning in hell for eternity. And i began to not trust God after his son had saved me from being an atheist and demonic torment. When i went to a big store i would look at the people there and think that most of these people would be burning in eternal torment.

I was stuck, I know Satan is evil but my mind was beginning to put horns on God too. I prayed and cried for months about it and i ended up finding UR and found it to good to be true at first. But this website has helped me a lot. I can now love God because i dont think hes going to torment people for eternity.

Reading your story has reaffirmed to me that both 'hell' and atheism are doctrines of devils (and are false prophets) and thus can be doorways for the adversary&co.. I am so glad you have found the liberating truth of God's Perfect Love! :cloud9:

The truth of scripture is that God created evil to humble us, but all God's creatures will eventually be reconciled to God through Christ's blood on the cross. Don't be deceived into thinking there's any such thing as "eternal torment" in "the lake of fire" or "hell" because an accurate translation of scripture doesn't say that. I think scripture is a more reliable source of truth than the tradition of man that's come to us through the Roman Empire which the Protestant Church neglected to purge. You don't have to fear demons or even Satan if you believe God. When Christ was confronted by Satan in the wilderness, he simply kept quoting the word of God until Satan left him. Satan even used the word of God with a distorted interpretation to try to con Christ, but Christ just kept quoting the word of God to counter Satan's deception. The power you need to feel confident about standing against the demons that are tormenting you is the spirit of God that comes into you through the inspired written word of God. I suggest you read it daily, and I suggest you concentrate on Paul's epistles because they're about the grace of God that specifically applies to those of us of the nations, the ecclesia, the body of Christ. Evil will eventually be nullified at the consummation of the eons, but, until then, we have to deal with it. Atheists are confused about evil and helpless to defend against it because they have no faith in God, but even that is according to God's will because only some have been chosen to be saved in grace through faith. The good news is though that even atheists will eventually be saved because God is the savior of all mankind, and God's plan is not to torture the majority of mankind in fire forever because God's ultimate plan is to be all in all.

Rev 13;11  then I saw another beast coming out of the earth..he had two horns like a lamb...BUT HE SPAKE AS A DRAGON.

   the tale of the dragon cast 1/3 of the stars in the heavens to the earth...the dragon pursued the woman who gave birth to the

  manchild that was snatched up to heaven[persecution of believers in Christ by jewish and Rome authorities] the dragon spewed

  water out of his mouth to try and cause the woman to be swept away of the flood.

The dragon /serpent  of old represents the wisdom of the world and is limited   to this life   with no love at all

It is kind of funny that all these peoples were attacked AFTER converting into christianity!


You know...i USED to be a wow addict. Played the game for years and was SERIOUSLY addicted! Yet i never had any demon problems.


God saved me from that horrible game and gaming addiction. Yet for some reason no Demon ever tried to posess me while in game.


I still do miss a part of that world. It's difficult to let go. I know i could go back playing it practicly any time i wanted to, and i know god would not sent me to "hell" while doing so.


Yet i also know the game is wrong and evil. There are just some things that are not "right"

As one can see, the logging screen is very DEMONIC! You basicly have 2 demon statues guarding a gate way, and above them is a snake. Because my computer screen settings were always so dark, i never noticed that snake untill around 2 years ago.


Anyway i know it's wrong so i dont do it anymore;

But i still wonder and ponder how can a demon POSES someone on a "Neutral chat" I mean...I KNOW the internet is a gate way to the spiritual world. I have known it for a VERY LONG TIME...but on a "neutral chat"


Just seems totally CRAZY! When i was playing wow i always wondered would a REAL DEMON attack me through the game. There were a lot of close calls but something like that never happened. Im still very puzzed how a demon can poses or attack you on a totally "neutral" chat board :sigh: :sigh: :sigh:

Demons are spirit beings who seem to have the power to obsess mankind, and to remove them their power must be overcome. I've found from experience that what worked for me was a whole lot of prayer and getting into the word of God. In other words, holy spirit will overcome any evil spirit, but, if it's a case of addiction for example, you may still have to deal with the aftermath of getting yourself healthy again with good nutrition and exercise. But I think the most important thing is to keep meditating on the word of God, and the holy spirit of God will edify you. After a while you'll have no desire for what you were formerly obsessed. Then you need to thank God, and remember the pain you experienced if you even think about messing with whatever had you enslaved again. The spirit of God really does overcome all evil. It's not just some intellectual concept. It's for real. We are all subject to the spirit realm. Most people don't even realize that all their choices are being influenced by spirits. The sooner we get hip to that and get on the right side, the sooner our lives will get better.

"The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control." (Galatians 5:22,23)

JonesHenry, I used to play WoW as well, in my younger days before I had children. I was pretty much addicted as well. I don't know much about demons and I don't tend to look at things so much as "right and wrong" as I do "beneficial" or "harmful". WoW is extremely addictive and I knew God had been calling me to give it up, for a variety of factors. It wasn't until I woke up in the middle of the night doing stabbing motions that I decided to listen to the nudge and quit! (I was a Rogue lol...) It scared the crap out of me... When one sits in front of a virtual world killing all day it is bound to affect you. Not to mention the amount of time it sucks out of your day, which affects relationships with loved ones and God. (Not on His part, but on the amount of time we spend seeking Him. He is always there waiting patiently for us, in my experience.)

I believe some people indeed HAVE been posessed while ingame! But i think what matters a little what you actually do in game. Theres A LOT of undead rogues around :Chinscratch:


Anyway...i noticed...that as a human you had to kill A LOT of other humans in order to make it around level 20 or so. The exuces for doing so were quite frankly pretty stupid.


I think it would TECHNICLY be possible to move to higher levels without killing any humans...it would just be VERY DIFFICULT!



On the Horde side as an orc(shaman)i just didn't notice anything like that. I got to kill other orcs who were mostly demon posessed and there was an OPTIONAL area, where you could actually CHOOSE wheter to kill humans or not!



So the game put out very stupid moral "choises" There was truly a lack of indeep morals atleast for me.



Theres still a lot of nostalgia running around in my head. I played the game a little bit after leaving my local church do to disagreement on the Universval Slvation topic.



What i noticed is that there were pretty severe restrictions to soloplay(this was classic wow on private server) Also i was pretty much FORCED to particapate in a summoning ritual with my warrior in order to get other party members into an instance.



There are other versions of the game that do allow more soloplay, but i have deciced not to get into that....for now! While there will always be a surden level of nostalgia in my heart, it feels better to move on.



When i played the game several years ago as a Paladin, i came to the conculsion that it was basicly an electronic drug or an adiction. The game pretty much gives you what you want(as a Paladin back in WOLTK days you really coulnd't die while soloing)




So...it eithe forces you to particapate with others players you dont want to...or gives you the illusion of TOTAL GODHOOD!

In real life things just dont work that way. Personally im uncomfortable between the difference with my real life and my ingame charecters :footmouth:



I still wonder who demons can poses or attack people while on the internet. Maybe it's best i dont think too much about it :eek:

Just to clarify... I don't think the demon came though the internet to attack me. I think the demon came to attack me when i was asleep only i was awake. They say 3:00 is the witching hour and i now believe that after my sleep paralysis attacks. But at the time it attacked me using Yahoo i was up late probably past 3:00am. I think the demon would have rather attacked me while i was sleeping but it just made use of what it had at the time. It actually asked me before the torment started why i stayed up so late.
