Healing on the sabbath/7th day

Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who had had a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your disability." 13 And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she glorified God. 14 But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, "There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day." 15 Then the Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? 16 And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?" 17 As he said these things, all his adversaries were put to shame, and all the people rejoiced at all the glorious things that were done by him. (Luke 13:10-17)

I consider this passage to be very symbolic, and also have to do with the salvation of all. If we take the seven "days" of a thousand years, the religious are indignant that UR says anyone could be healed after the sixth, whereas the Spirit of Christ says it is indeed only right that healing takes place on the day of rest.

This passage might specifically apply to the natural Jews as "the daughter of Abraham" who are unable to walk uprightly in this age because the light of Christ has not (generally) shone through. Or it could apply to mankind as a whole, bent over from sin, and unable to straighten without the divine touch. However you take it, it shows the heart of our Lord towards the sinner on EVERY day of the week, and in every millennium in the great plan of the ages.

The  way you have presented this is  wonderful and never thought of it   like   this before .

  I only knew Jesus Christ represented/ symbolized    the Sabbath rest /   7th day  and  The Day /Light   for all to see   and   all would come to Christ in the end

And    she   was   bound  by Satan  18 years  is the same as bound by the earthly things   to me . 

and Jesus was telling her the  Gospel   that help heal her torment of not knowing anything about Gods Plan  ,

she was very poor in spirit     , He gave her  faith and hope in Love  the Love of God ...   so she could rest in Jesus Words  about her   condition

and in this way   Jesus bound Satan and loosed  her   and  He done this often and to many who would believe in Him   they to could be healed from the   deadly wound of lies   against God

  That is the importance of the gospel to  be preached to all the ends of the earth      to me   , to  keep faith and hope alive in Christ

    Jesus teaching us to pray  ,  That    Gods will to be done on earth as it is in heaven ..

I agree. I think it could be said that the preceding verses figuratively represented Israel as an unfruitful tree, and the healing of the woman represented Israel's restoration. The religious establishment was opposing the Lord's work with a hypocritical zeal for the law, but the miracle showed salvation is of God, when man can not work. So what better day than the Sabbath?
