The people all wanted to know what was happening, but couldn't agree about the situation.
Luke then states the genealogy of Christ right back to Adam. That  lineage has some interesting people.
That fact of lineage Highlights the attention to detail of our whole plan which is an ongoing process for the whole of mankind.
