Jesus, the word is of course the key. He is Truth. But so many people are repelled by the gospel.. A sign of the times.. yes, but also, we know (I believe) that the Et gospel is no gospel and many turn away from it and some even come to hate & despise it. And despise God of the Bible, who is not really Him, but much more of an adversary.

So many broken relationships.. broken people.. aimless, raised and taught to be aimless. [It used to be most people, at least in Christendom, had a pattern of life and so always had some direction built right into life.

But that pattern has deteriorated, and so despair is on the rise.. as is rage, even mob mentality is on a roll. Oh Lord! Our grandkids! The Lord can protect.. guide.. (and surely does now engineer..)

But the UR Gospel is health / salvation ( :Chinscratch: maybe I should have put this in the other thread..) If the Et gospel were to be gone I think many would soak up the truth like a sponge.. “the fields white to harvest..”

But of course even now there are those hearts which yearn for the truth.. for God. “Pray for workers for the harvest..” ..”he who is not gathering with me is scattering” (ET?! )I’m not sure many of the ET gospel would give it up.. they call us heretic and ban us from forums.. The best thing for our kids and grandkids would be less very very angry devout atheists. We humans have such a tendency to put our heads in the sand., Nero fiddled while Rome burned..

2 Timothy 3:16
“Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” We UR workers / servants need to be trained and fitted for ‘battle’ (against untruth/not true). I’m wondering if not only in this life time but during the Lord’s millennium.. :dontknow:

Just some thoughts.. so many broken people.. despair.. drugs.. suicide.. and we have the answer to it all.. I think besides ET, the churches keep ppl looking inward, constant self examination.. kind of fruitless and keeps the gospel locked in et..? :dontknow:

The ECT doctrine puts men in Hell, and the Gospel on the floor, with a basket over it.

The ECT message puts men, with the Spirit of Life in them, in Hell.  But...here is where the Hell doctrine breaks down and its blasphemy is revealed:

When you die, that Spirit of Life returns to God Who loaned it to you, as He did to all air-breathers.

You must be dead to be in Hell, but you must be alive to suffer in it...but you're dead. :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

Does that make any sense?  No, but it gets worse.

To say men are suffering in Hell means they are alive, which means that they somehow have the Spirit of Life in them.  How?  :dunno2:

Does God give it back when you enter Hell?  Is a part of God in Hell?  I think not!  :Chinscratch:

The idea of an ECT Hell REQUIRES that God be in Hell, making God an Enabler and a Participant.

Away with that blasphemy!  There is no Hell, no dualistic Heaven versus Hell, with God and Satan vying for our "souls."

Our existence is a hierarchy:  God > Cosmos > Earth > Man.

Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

A-men! I especially like - Our existence is a hierarchy:  God > Cosmos > Earth > Man.

As I'm rather fond of formulas ...also of catchy phrases/true-isms :gsmile:

I have long felt the whole 'hell' doctrine is blasphemous against God's pristine character and also attributes. And I totally agree with your logic.. I cannot fathom the idea that before judgment ppl go to 'heaven or hell' - then judgment and back to 'heaven or hell'.. Not too logical (nor dead as another form of living) to me, anyway.. And not biblical (imo) - but not understanding Revelation is not unusual, thus not perceiving coming ages outlined (one of which I believe is "the judgment" - And as far as I have found out so far, consulting interlinear verses, "day" has been assumed and added, i.e., Judgment 'Day' - as if all "judgment" of the generations and ages of man's doings and empires, could be accomplished and revealed in one day. (A sort of kindergarten view? All are taught..)

"A day for a year" - one of the very few cases of, I believe, is the pattern of the Autumn holy days of Lev 23. Trumpets, 10 days - then DOA (4 the doa), 5 days of? - then Tabernacles (Rev 21:1-5 - "God will now tabernacle w/ man" :cloud9: :cloud9: upon Earth made new, in universe made new.. and now He is "all in all".

..but :mshock: I've fallen down one of my favorite rabbit holes, holy days as prophecy of advent 1 & 2.. besides ur, the other is prophecy/days coming..

This, to me, is for the next ages. We learn in the current, but start for real in full in the next.
This, again I.M.O is why we are separated and in the wilderness, just like when they left Egypt, but only start the full change in the land of plenty - just like Joshua and Caleb; Joshua representing Jesus, Caleb representing the ecclesia.

Jesus Himself said, His kingdom is NOT of THIS age. This age is to proclaim the good news of what is coming.
Too many ministers have felt the need to convert and I.M.O have assumed those who do not hear go to hell.
This clouds the truth.
Jesus told the ministers off who would seek to save one and that attempt would make things harder for the convert- we see that with all the problems that other cultures have when they "blend" their beliefs- just like Constantine caused all the problems for the Roman Catholics when he mish- mashed so much stuff.

Colossians 2;2-4 " My goal is that their hearts may be encouraged and knit together in love,
so that they may have all the wealth of full assurance of understanding,
for full knowledge of God's mystery,
                           which is Christ,
in Whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
I am telling you this so that no one may deceive you with plausible arguments."

I.M.O Jesus if THE key- ergo the way, the truth, the light, the mediator, the Son of God who has set up a glorious future which no man can over-ride.

So yes,;  We have the key. Awesome!! :dsunny: :cloud9:

It sure does!

I think the end of Acts sums it up very well..

30 Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, 31 Boldly and freely preaching the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ..

I don't get the sense of pressuring or threatening..

I think we can evangelize without threatening hell.

2 Cor. 5:20   We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.

Rm. 10  Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How then can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to proclaim?

I personally believe there was an age before the cross, and now this age.

However, in this instance, I believe Jesus meant His kingdom was not of this earthly realm, world, place (kosmou).  Instead, that it was spiritual/heavenly.  Not based on or entangled with this world's systems, but in a dimension outside/beyond worldly influence or encumbrances.  Such as when Paul and Silas rejoiced in prison.  Even though in captivity physically, they were living in the kingdom;  "righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit".

The oldest known manuscripts agree with each other 99% of the time.  The scriptures, accurately translated, Spirit revealed - reliable.   Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  Heb. 12:2
