Adam was put in to a deep Sleep by God .
When awoken he was now, the groom.
He also was the seed of the bride.

Adam was both the bride and the groom.
As we are now.

When we sleep (die) we will be awaken for the marriage.
I believe the parts of our being that come through the testing fires,
will be part of what makes up the bride.

We will see as the groom, that the bride is one with us .
We will all recognize that we are indivisible.
No Mother or Father no male or female only one.
We will be one

That too!

Daj,your'e post reminded me of Jesus prayer that He prayed before He suffered on the cross.

Holy Father...I pray that they may be ONE ..and they know that I am in you and you

are in me..............

......and why were they created male and female from the beginning..because He was seeking

righteous offspring.   bring the male and female togather/union...and there the Holy

righteous 'seed' is.

This is why a man leaves his father and mother and bonds with his wife, and they become one flesh.
25 Both the man and his wife were naked, yet felt no shame.

This verse seems to be placed to early in scriptures.
Who was Adam talking to.

Adam self identified as (the man).
Who was Adam leaving?
Had he already left his Mother and Father.
During his deep sleep.
when he awakes he has a wife Eve.

When the words are spoken :
let us create man in our image
Did Adam see who had spoken ?
Did he see a Mother and Father.

To me it appears that Adam is speaking prophetically. When God creates male and female he does so as a single image of his Son. Paul quotes the same verse regarding the church:

Ephesians 5
30 because we are members of His body. 31 For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. 32 This mystery is great; but I am speaking with reference to Christ and the church.

Yes, no male or female, or Jew or Gentile, for all are one.
