This new standard of " Within."

You hear believers talking about the Spirit " Within." Everyone is staking their claims to God, which is understandable, its something to be desired. God in you, Christ in you, the Spirit within. Its a new standard, and like any new sway that grips the people, its catching on. People are believing that they are what they say they are. And this is a most powerful dynamic, espically amoung believers in God.

Look at 1John 4:15;" Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God."

According to this scripture, all who simply believe in God, then God is " In" them, and even more astounding, they are " In God." Being in God is a most interesting statement, which I will go into later. But simple belief here, seems like the Holy Spirit is then given to the person. And believe me, the person takes it right off, because the bible seems to say it given just that freely.

Does God abide in everyone that believes in him? Who confesses their belief. If this is the case, then millions of people are called by God.

Or are they?

And I want to examine that.

Hello Rose, oh sure, we can examine this together, no problem with togetherness in looking to Gods truth. Many are called, despite the thinking of those called who think the calling is limited. Or the club is exclusive. God has made millions aware of him and his truth, but the annointed think this is not so. And that irritates me with no end. God works inside out and outside in. This thinking of the Spirit within, is an attempt to focus Gods Spirit on a certain specfic group, as if God has no other sheep outside of a fold.

Or to limit God really.

Limit him to only deal with a certain pack of humans. That is mundane.

The largest group of humans God is " Working with", are the unbelievers, and the " Hopeful believers." It is impossible for sinners to save themselves, the blood of goats or bulls cannot take away sins.

If you are going to lead the way of God, then will you lead by your calling and annointing? If you do, then pride will take its place EVERY time! It will swell and fester inside of a thing first good, which then takes a most interesting turn of events. That turn, IS this new standard of within which I see in believers.

As if they can preach and teach and believe the gospel, by the strength of their supposed calling.

As if that strength is the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is without question, I question this " Other Spirit."

The bible itself can be used as a doctrine of demons, FIRST toward believers, NOT unbelievers, or first by those who have BEEN CALLED! Notice 1Corinth.12:3, latter part of verse;" No one can say Jesus is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit." Oh so does this mean that all who say Jesus is Lord have done so by the Spirit of God? No, the apostle is misunderstood here. He speaks his own mind, not knowing that many will come after him who say that Jesus is Lord, and do so after their own reasons, not by the Spirit.

The word of God then has to speak for itself, not only in the reading of the text, but the " Spirit behind the reading", must be Gods personal involvement. And believers know this, but they fail to understand that satan is a spirit also, and can interject his spirit to be Gods spirit.

So then a whole group of networking has been installed by these spirit interjecting beings who seek to infiltrate themselves into the truth, by masquerading as the truth. This group is FAR more relevant in our beliefs than we suspect.

And I want to get into that.

  It seems for this very  reason you stated  above .
  This is why we rely on Gods word and promises and Spirit
 
this is why  in these verses  we are putting all our confidence and faith in God , and  nothing else ..

  would a  dad give his own son  the opposite of what he asks his dad for?    no He would give him  what ever he   needs  ,  we need Gods spirit it is our protection from the devil Mickel , and that is why  Jesus come to show us this very thing ,
  you have to ask  God without doubting  Him  and beleiving Him that He is  ALL superior   over everything that is .

   If we do not trust God   and in God , what chance do we have to recive anything  God offers?
   that was the problem of the children in the wilderness   they did not trust God and   were  in big trouble for it  , that is an example to us  what happens when you doubt God Mickel .

   This is and can be a big problem, I can relate to what Mickiel is expressing. Sometimes it is a 'heart" condition, a lack of the
love of God in someone..Father has said 'I will give them their delusions" Many are deluded..with religiosisty,superior,spirits at work. We've all seen it. I just watched a program about so called 'messiah's,cults,etc.on t.v. yesterday

   The sense of 'exclusitivity" and knowledge can and does 'puff up".Paul spoke of wolves in sheep's clothing that would not be tender with the flock. The parable of the good samaritan drives
this home .

   Pride,Glory,authority and power has continualy been a problem
  throughout the whole history of man. Some men seek a great ministry,and not for a 'good' motive. I have been under the thumb of some of these types..they make spiritual prisonhouses
and they are the keepers of it.[seduced by a spirit not of Christ]

  KNOWLEDGE IS POWER..Knowledge of God[or someone that says he possess's it] has been used by many an unjust steward
to their own selfish desire's.

   We must all examine our hearts,each and every day. For this
  spirit starts out very subtil..and like a snowball rolling down a hill..it enlarges itself more and more. It destroys and does much damage.It robs and pillages. It is displayed in posts,debates,daily conversations,sermons,books,websites,
  religious programs,etc. Many are blind to it. Some are not blind
to seeing it in others,or other groups,but blind in seeing it only
in themselves or their group.

   Does that mean we go about pointing the finger at everyone,all day long? No. It means we all need to be more diligent guarding our mouth and heart,checking our attitudes.

  What comes out of our heart is what defiles us,and what is
  in our heart will overflow out of our mouth

   The ones that laboured all day in the vineyard..supposed they would receive a greater wage than those who came after them.
Jesus was NOT speaking about money here.A humble,contrite
  spirit,meekness and mildness are highly valued in Our Father's eyes. Is it valued in ours?

   Sibling jealousy can lead to death.Cain and Abel show that truth, also Jesus.We need to watch out..that we don't devour one another. The "have's "and the "have nots' stir up this
vindictive jealous mean spirit. When the haves exceed
and go about boasting,taking on a prideful superior attitude
over the 'have not's' it imflames the situation.

   Rather, the 'haves" need to have the attitude..all I have is yours,too.What God gives us is for all,to share and encourage one another,to build each other up.

   The "have nots' need pateince,as they await the spirit to
  bring them the growth in God they desire.We must encourage,
  not stumble one another.

   We are all human,and prone to be tripped up in these matters,
  I know we don't want to do these things,but sometime's we
  do..

   May all of our JOY in HIM,and in each other increase!

I think what happens is that verse is true, but then a person wants to stake the claim that how they want to be in God will then manifest through their personal belief.   I feel that is the error.   I do not believe that just because we can know God is in us and we are in God that it means a completion of Gods work.


2C 10:13 But we will not boast of things without [our] measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.


God does talk about distributing to us, but the indication is that of a portion.

One specific example I can think of is tongues.  In many religious circles it is pretty close to a right of passage to publically speak in tongues. As a result you have thousands of believers rambling incoherantly saying absolutely nothing because they want more than God has given them at the moment.

The bible set a standard in John 4:24, " God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in Spirit and in Truth." These are the two things believers in God covet the most, his spirit and his truth. They know that without these two, they cannot claim the prize of the high calling.

Now, they know they can claim that they are called if they can show they have the truth, and they usually use knowledge to prove that to themselves. But how do they prove they have the Spirit? Well they go again to the knowledge, which is in error. They try to think that if they understand and see truth, or knowledge, well then thats proof of the Spirit indwelling. That is a gross common error, but they all are trying to get away with this.

You need to show both Spirit and Truth.

The ONLY way to prove to yourself that you have the Spirit of God is Galations 5:22-26. There is NO OTHER biblical way to prove this! If you have the Spirit of God, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self Control will be IN you, AND constantly come out of you! These are the charactheristics of God himself, and they would be yours IF you have Gods Spirit, these ARE the Standards within, not your knowledge.

These are how you worship and comminucate with God.
