How will Jesus will draw all men unto Him? It probably wont be thru the methods used by this board as an attempt to draw all men unto Him. (kudos to martincisneros for his long-suffering administration)

Martincisneros doesn't sign the checks...so in order to bring martincisneros' boss Gary Amirault into a more reasonable frame of mind with the recognition about the extraordinary length of time it takes to reconcile, we have to go thru Gary Amirault's boss. And that's what this thread is about.

Sweet Jesus lay Your hands on your long-suffering servant Gary Amirault and raise him into a position where he can better serve You. Amen

Hi Burl,

I do not think we can judge the methods in particular,  those methods can be as numerous as there are things in the universe.  In My own life I see how being amongst doctrine and peoples opinions I reject now played a part in why I believe.

One interesting verse

1C 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

It is interesting because it implies that those who believe need saving. Why is that?

Is it possible that everyone in some way believes whether they agree with you, me, religion, or anyone that tries to judge the hearts of men and their ultimate eternal destiny by sight and appearance?

Maybe, Romans 1:20 is telling us that very thing.

Ro 1:20 For His invisible attributes are descried from the creation of the world, being apprehended by His achievements, besides His imperceptible power and divinity, for them to be defenseless,

Have a great Day Burl

Hi Burl,

I'm a newbie; but if you accept unlimited intelligence of God I think you also have to accept He can think of many ways to draw people.

In a short while I spammed this forum with 300+ stupid questions. Have I become a Christian now?
I fear not. Have I learn. Yes a lot. Even if it doesn't show  :laughing7:
Now guess how  I started my journey...
I'm a real metal head. One of the lyrics contained the famous "Woe to you o earth.....number is 666" (the song was anti-devil btw)
I started Googling a lttle. And that was my starting point.

Am I drawn?
Did God made me Google for those lovely lyrics?
Can we ever know?

All the ET people see this site as an satanic site. I don't.
Only God knows what He uses to draw people. But If you ask me this site could well be one of His methods.
Jesus did teach people. Needless to say had a very good purpose to do so. And I wouldn't be suprised if it is the drawing process.
This site also teaches (for me much better as the Bible does) so can we conclude that this site could well be a tool of God?

If this site isn't devine then at leat the smileys are!  :pointlaugh:
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

Thanks for your responses.

I can only hope that the powers that be can see thru my bumblings to the intent that Gary receive assistance in ironing out any wrinkles in the oversight of something that is obviously close to his heart.

For me this is a sticking point. We are warned not to remove the tares and yet personal success would have us remove them. The difficulty here is that I'm using my own limited perpective to judge without realizing that in my naivete I'm am being more of a hinderance than help.

I expect our shortcomings will be explained to us.

I guess I am not sure how to respond, or if I even need to.   Perhaps you could be more specific.  I will accept that your intent is not to demean Gary,  but the bible also instructs us to correct our brother in love.

I suppose if it is concerning Gary,  a private e-mail to him would be more appropriate?

It was a revelation to me when I realized that I could not discern the gems in the stream due to the mud from my own travel: (from a Budhist proverb). Discerning the mud to be my own refuse is it's own gem.

Hmmm...how will Jesus Christ defeat the Master, the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Reapers, the Slitheen, the Sontarans, the Yeti, the Zygons, the Ogrons, the Jagrafess, the Jagaroth, the Autons, the Daemons, and my favorite -- the Clockwork robots -- while still being able to save the whole world??

Hmmm...how could Jesus Christ defeat all of the above enemies, plus countless others and still be Home in time for tea (i.e. Revelation 3:20) with the entirety of God's Creation fully submitted to His Lordship and restored to holiness, obedience, and perfect happiness??

The Word doesn't tell me to try to figure it out, but to count on the fact that He is the ransom for absolutely all, and that God will be all in all in every way that He's not yet thus far been all in all.  He'll probably do it the same way He's done everything else over the last 2000 years: through the Word, Faith, His Blood, and the Anointing, which is His burden removing, yoke destroying power.  He's High Priest between man and God with the same orders as Melchezedec had.  Father swore every single Word of that New Testament in the Blood of Jesus as Jesus presented Himself spotless before Him and presented Him with His Blood after His resurrection.

God swore in that Blood a Covenant Oath and made us Blood Brothers to Jesus Christ with the full assurance that He'd do His total part of this Covenant.  And that Blood sits today with the original copy of the New Covenant in the heavenly Holy of Holies announcing to every principality and power in heavenly places that the gates of New Jerusalem are to remain unlocked and that the Spirit and the Bride are to compel every single one of 'em to come in, right alongside of Jesus Christ.  We're going to compel every single one of them until Father's House is FILLED with every enemy after they've been subdued, reconciled, and restored.

I don't have to know every single detail of how Jesus Christ will get it done, when He very plainly said in John 6 that His Flesh and Blood were being given for the life of the world.  He said in John 17 that He was making us One in Himself SO THAT THE WORLD WOULD BELIEVE AND KNOW that God has loved them AS MUCH as He's loved Jesus Christ.  Whatever technology, whether temporal or spiritual that He has to employ as Lord over Time and Space, He's going to get the job done.  He always gets the job done, even if at times it seems like you can't have the Saviour without a lot of monsters on the scene that are bent on destroying all of us, whether they're monsters of our own creation or a part of the mystery of eons long ago that we're not given a lot of details about in the Scriptures.  You can count on Jesus Christ to be The Doctor for every need and situation.  He never loses a patient and Time is really not an issue with the Lord. :cloud9:
