The end of the concept of Eternal Torment

I've been thinking about what the 'accuser of the brethern' really means. Is it like in the book of Job where Satan is before God's throne accusing us the way he did Job? Why would God even continue to listen to his arguments?

Satan-"Did you just see what so and so just did.Why do you continue to bless him?"
God-"Sorry there big fella. The cross. remember? Sins are already paid for"
Satan-"Hmmm...., well, did you see what the other so and so did then?"
God-"The cross"
Satan-"Oh yeah, sorry, my memory isn't so good lately"

But what if the dialog was this?

Satan-"How God can you bless a people that believe you are capable of punishing your own children in an eternal lava pit?" "They may worship You but deep down they fear you and not in a good way"
God-"Hmm.....well, you might be on to something there big guy"
God-"Ok, do with them as you please within your power"
(Revelation 13:7 - He was given power against the saints and to conquer them

I don't know if the above scenario is even close but it's what I've been thinking lately and how this may relate to the message of UR.

As most of you know, its almost pointless discussing UR with most  ET believing Christians. So, how does this end? I think there are only 2 ways. One is the physical return of our Lord and the other is us.

How do we do it when I just said its pointless trying to reason with ET'ers?

I honestly believe God will use us, yes some of the very people on this forum to perform signs and wonders the way Stephen in Acts did them. Does anyone else feel this? I do in my Spirit and it's time we fight back to this hellish teaching.

I pray others seek God over this because that is what its going to take. I see such maturity here unlike any other forum and know there must be some who are willing to step out in faith. I am. I just need people beside me for this.

I've been talking with a lot of people about UR and/or Hell not being true lately. Once you aren't worried about offending somebody by telling them that if they don't believe you they'll end up in Hell for all eternity, talking becomes so much easier! They can tell which is more loving anyway: a God who eternally tortures, or a God who eternally loves and saves? I think it's only those sucked into doctrine and those who hate all things related to God that really have the most trouble. But heck, the ones who hate God probably don't hate really hate God, they just hate the God who would eternally torment.

I still talk to ET believers abouot UR in some forums posting ansewering questions debating and the like not so much in the hopes of converting the ET Dogmatist but to provide the seed or a ray of light to the seeker..............

:cloud9: ABSOLUTELY. That is why He has had us all out in the wilderness, outside the "camp" to die. The sacrifice for sin was taken outside the camp to be burned, and we have all been going thru the fire out here in one way (or many; my life's been like a whirlwind for a year and half) or another.

He is burning up the chaff, that HE might be seen in a people called by His name. We are closer now, than I have ever seen, and it is a time for a solemn assembly and seeking His face/nature as never before. Blessings.......
