Revelation 21:1

The New Heaven and Earth

"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea." (There will be no more sea(s) / oceans.) Most ET folks believe this to be true and accurate prophecy and statement, indeed if one were to try to say it is metaphorical only they would be accused of "taking away" from God's Word.

Revelation 21:4

"...and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain, for the former things are passed away." (Gone.)

I'm really not sure how it could be any clearer. (Somebody has probably already noted this verse but I didn't see it listed..)

As a former ET'er we applied this verse to "Those in Christ" ONLY and
to hell with the rest of humanity.

Lazarus Short

To hell with that - I look forward to seeing the joy of those who never knew Christ, when they first see the glory of the Kingdom.

Living as a Christian in the here-and-now - good.

Arriving in the Heavenly Kingdom - better.

Seeing the joy of those who lived without hope as they see the Kingdom for the first time - priceless!
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.
