Misszoolander I totally agree with your last post here. Its so frustrating to talk to someone who claims to know that something is in the bible but when asked where it is they avoid addressing it. I have family members who think the bible says things that if they would just take the time to search for it they would not find it. I always end up saying that if you can't find it in the bible then question it. Prove what ever it is that you believe at least to yourself.

I had this a few days ago, someone said "Look at Sodom! God said they are an example of what happens to ungodly men!Fire and brimstone!"

Yes, they are quite right there...but why do people always forget that Sodom gets restored? They read one thing while forgetting another...

This is just an example, unfortunately it is too common, too many lean not on the bible, but sermons.
My heart is often heavy when I think about how far Christianity has fallen, to say the Saviour of the world is not the Saviour of the world, that one has to save themselves first by having faith, that man actually saves himself not Jesus alone is anti Christ teaching itself.

Thankfully the only thing that gives me hope is Jesus, knowing that he knew this was going to happen, he has a plan  :Peace2:

I believe even the faith to believe itself, is given by God.  Without His help/Him giving it to me, I don't have any faith.  He helps me use whatever amount he's given me, but "all good things come from the Father of Lights".

It's all about Jesus. :)

IMO, Just like free will, man wants some part of salvation to be up to him. :Peace2:

Haha yes, oh the whole "freewill" belief has made humanity proud.

Someone said to me that God will never display his ultimate truth to anyone because it will destroy their freewill.

how about destroy their blindness?  What if freewill is actually just blindness, blindness that causes us to be imperfect and make us choose  due to the situations God has put us in.

The disciples are a great example, Peter willed that he would not deny Christ, was it so? No Jesus was not lying when he said "You will deny me!". Peter was blind about the fact that no matter how much he wanted not to deny Christ, Gods will was for him to do so. The Potter maimed the clay in this fine example.

Peter, by faith,  proclaimed the word of God. God gave them faith to hear Peters words. (Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God). He also gave them faith to follow instructions LOLOLOL

Let us pray that God give us faith to follow instructions!

He again fixes a certain day, "Today," saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before, "TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS." For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His. Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience.
