I know that I'm a bit early, but not knowing the schedule of when some of our South Pacific members will be lurking, I thought I'd go ahead and post this 'cause of the international lines on who is in the New Year first.  Last time I checked, I thought I found info online that said that there's a 17hr difference between my time zone and New Zealand's.

Happy New Year.  Those who might have an alcoholic drink or two, please don't drink and drive, or drink and fly.  Can't argue the temperance issue later if you're dead from exercising poor judgment in driving/flying/whatever, when you were in no shape to handle a car, plane, or whatever.

For anyone wrestling with an emotional imbalance at this time of year either from circumstances, the weather and diet, or just one of those mystery curses where you don't do too well during this time of year even if you won the lottery, ate like a rabbit, and slept 10hrs a day -- it IS worth living another year.  We all need you.  We all love you.  That's not pitty.  That's genuinely meant from a heart of love and from having personally gone through 15 or 20 years of wishing I were dead, when I was younger.

Been there, and it does get easier, Christ will deliver you, and the longer you live then you inevitably run into more reasons to live than to die.  Don't let go.  Join the forum if you need someone to hold on to you while you don't feel like you can hold on.  Don't leave this world even more incomplete than it's already been.  Usually the people that think that nobody would miss 'em are the very ones that would leave the most holes in the most hearts if they were suddenly gone 'cause ya just never know in this take everybody for granted kinda world.  Ya just never know and why add to anybody else's Hell, huh?  We do love you!!

Anyway, I genuinely had no idea that I was going to go there with what was supposed to only be a one or two sentence greeting.  Again, Happy New Year to EVERYONE that visits this board.

Martin, What do you mean by "Happy New Year?"

Do you mean happy new 365 thousand years if a day is as a thousand years?

What is "new" to you?

What do you mean by "Happy"? Do you mean "blessed" KJV?

The inquisition has spoken.

Now answer nave!
Just because God says He will save all mankind
does not necessarily mean He won't.

And I thought that that casserole that I made yesterday had had a bad ingredient or two when I saw Joan of Arc in the mirror this morning.  But nope, I guess there is an Inquisition around.  I'll have to behave myself like Michael Servetus did when he assumed the identity of Michel de Villeneuve.  Anyway, I meant for everyone to have a most Happy and a most Blessed start to a wonderful new 365 day year made up of roughly 24hrs each.

The inquisition has spoken. :LH:

"Embrace the day, flowing in the currents of every moment and savor it's events."

There will be no limit to the height, caliber or size of the body; the only true significance is the timing.

Happy third day, Martin. Even if that day is a thousand years!

There's no such thing as being a little late on a thread like this.  Some folks are probably just starting to lose the hang over from what they did to themselves with the New Year festivities, particularly among the folks that just lurk at this site.  Hola!  Welcome back to earth cosmonauts!  The ozone warriors will be back down to earth by the end of the weekend, and then once everybody's head's stopped killing them.....the boards will still be here for you to read:-) :cloud9:

This whole year's going to be nonstop festivities in Holy Spirit!!
