As we know, Jesus quoted this psalm (verse one) when He was on the cross - "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?!"

And we know these were fulfilled,

6 But I am a worm and not a man,
    scorned by everyone, despised by the people.
7 All who see me mock me;
    they hurl insults, shaking their heads.
8 "He trusts in the Lord," they say,
    "let the Lord rescue him.
Let him deliver him,
    since he delights in him."

12 Many bulls surround me;
    strong bulls of Bashan encircle me.
13 Roaring lions that tear their prey
    open their mouths wide against me.
14 I am poured out like water,
    and all my bones are out of joint.
My heart has turned to wax;
    it has melted within me.
15 My mouth is dried up like a potsherd,
    and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth;
    you lay me in the dust of death.
16 Dogs surround me,
    a pack of villains encircles me;
    they pierce my hands and my feet.
17 All my bones are on display;
    people stare and gloat over me.
18 They divide my clothes among them
    and cast lots for my garment.

Hebrews chapter 2 quotes verse 22,
11 ..Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. 12 He says, I will declare your name to my brothers and sisters; in the assembly I will sing your praise. (Psalm 22:22 I will declare Your name to My brethren;
In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.)

Since all these were fulfilled, are we supposed to believe that these other prophecies of Psalm 22, will somehow not be fulfilled?!

27 All the ends of the earth
    will remember and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
    will worship before him..

29 ..all who go down to the dust will kneel before him —

for me I see these also fulfilled at the cross .... I see them as: taking upon Himself the nature of the flesh and putting them under His feet .... under His authority

Psa 22:27  All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
Psa 22:28  For the kingdom is the LORD'S: and he is the governor among the nations.
Psa 22:29  All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

This is what I see in them:

27 FIRST PART: Every finished thought of the spirit (nature of Adam) shall remember (remember that they was exposed, remember being naked) they will turn unto the Lord to be renewed, reconciled (because all thoughts and emotions have spiritual meaning hid in them)
SECOND PART: all the kindreds (families, all thoughts and emotions are related to each other) of the nations (mind and heart, because thoughts are the inhabitants of the mind and emotions are the inhabitants of the heart) shall worship before thee

28 For the kingdom is the Lord's, and He is the governor among of the nations (among the minds and hearts)

29 All they (thoughts and emotions) that be fat (raised themselves up) upon earth (upon the heart) shall eat (eat of the truth) and worship (submit to His authority): all they (thoughts and emotions) that go down to the dust (reckon themselves dead and are no longer of the nature of the first Adam but are part of the nature of the Last Adam) shall bow before him (because He give them honor, the honor of now knowing that they had spiritual meaning hidden within them: and none (no thought or emotion of the physical)can keep alive his own soul (remain physical when the truth is revealed that they are spiritual).

In short, all things physical were reconciled unto the authority of Christ, the authority of the Word, for the Word is the substance of all things and by giving meaning to all physical events and examples they were given The Spirit of the Word.

It is what takes place inside each one of us (in their due time) and will also happen corporately (each in due time)

Just as thoughts and emotions submit to the authority of Christ so shall the spirits that inhabit the heaven and earth

When ALL are in ALL and ALL is one family

This is how I understand that God sees darkness and light as the same, because since the foundation of the world (physical world) light is hidden (veiled in darkness) until God says "Let there be Light" the revealing of what was hidden.

Hope that makes sense to those who read and meditate upon it

(Was led to edit one thing, the changing of the word "feeling(s)" to the word "emotion(s)")

Isn't it wonderful? Everything, and all depths of all things and all rational creatures both in heaven and earth will be totally subjected.. every thought, every where, taken captive, and subdued by Him.. for it pleased the Father that the fullness of all things be in Him..

So subdued that the first one used or under a lie, the serpent.. the little child will be able to play at the entrance to the poisonous snake den.. Every thing under His dominion.. Knowledge of the LORD will cover the earth as water covers the seas..

We're to offer up a right sacrifice to Him.. Every knee shall bow.. we are His.. shaped via His workmanship.. submitting (imo) our self to Him.. with praise itself as an act of submission? and prayer..? Is the fruit He is most after in us, love? I think it is. When we have true affection for our neighbor, our fellow person.. That's Him. I really believe that's what it's all about. The layers of our submitting is never ending.

"The kingdom of God is within". This is true.. but, happy day! it's also going to be 'without', outward, and eventually throughout the universe? The lion will eat straw like the ox.. friends! Elephants, tigers, lions, bears... and all beautiful branches of the human family.. and a paradise that I believe of course will surpass anything any of us could hope or imagine..

And the paradise will also be within.. a garden.. a pleasing aroma to our God..
