2 Corinthians 10:13 says:

Now we will not boast out of measure, but according to the measure of the rule which the God of measure has apportioned to us, to reach to you also.
Darby translation

I once read a statement using this verse against the doctrine of eternal punishment, as God is called the God of measure, an infinite punishment for finite disobedience would be a punishment without measure and therefore not adequate for God.

I think this is a pretty good argument, what do you think about?

"The God of measure"

wow.  Thanks.  I wouldn't see that in my KJV.

[according to the measure of the] "rule"

G2583

Fromκάνη kanē (a straight reed, that is, rod); a rule ("canon"), that is, (figuratively) a standard (of faith and practice); by implication a boundary, that is, (figuratively) a sphere (of activity): - line, rule.

1Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.

2And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.

3Then went he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.

Mark 4:24
And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

Matthew 23:32
Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

Never seen anything about that verse.
But I did see arguments that do apply to this verse.
Something similar to:
"Sinning against an infinite holy God is an infinite sin; so requires infinite hell."
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

not all bibles translate this verse this way, Darby, Young's Literal and Green's Literal do
