Reading 1 Timothy 2:4-5,

4 who desires/"wills" all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

I noticed how verse five is a continuation of verse 4.. the word "for" .. there is one God.. meaning for there is no other who can prevent His will! Written at a time when 'gods' were thought to rule and battle over the earth.. (Satan&co's role self magnified?) "It is good and acceptable to pray for all, for kings and those in authority for He wills all come to the truth/be saved, 5. one indeed God there is and one mediator between God and men..
