A logical case for salvation after this lifetime

First some verses:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Jhn 3:16-17   

"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. Jhn 5:24   

Upon you will come all the righteous blood, that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berakiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. I tell you the truth, all these things will come upon this generation. Matt 23:35

Here is the summary:

1. The mission: Salvation - God sent his son into the world to save the world.
2. The mechanics of salvation: Believe in him - whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
3. The method of conveying the mechanics for the mission: Hearing - whoever hears my word and believes...
4. The fate of the people to whom the message of the mechanics for the mission is being conveyed to: Doom - Upon you will come all the righteous blood.

So Jesus is tasked with telling a group of people whom he knows most will be killed in a relatively short time that they can achieve salvation by hearing his words and believing in his message.

What does he do? Speak more clearly? Do things to be more effective at delivering his message? Spend every waking hour trying to spread the message further?

Quite the opposite...

He decides to speak in a manner that people will understand less of his message. Not only that but admits that he is doing this so that most of the people will NOT be forgiven.

He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that,"' they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'" Mark 4:11-12

so does Jesus not want some people to ever be saved?

We know that is not true because Peter says that The Lord is not willing that any should perish.

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9:

So what does that logically leave us with?

The inclusion into the kingdom of God by responding to his message of salvation cannot be limited to the scope time spent here on earth.

It is the only way for all these things to be true.

Jesus hid Himself from most during His earthly ministry.  Many are still blinded (But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed.  Only in Christ is it taken away 2 Cor. 3:14."

So unless Jesus meant for many/most to go to be tortured in a burning hell for eternity, then there's got to be "more to HIStory".
