SeekerSA

Hello,

I write with a big burden on my conscience to apologize for my posts written at the tenmaker forum. I would like to apologize to seekerSA, for making groundless accusations about his sincerety towards Christ. I would like to apologize to SoTW, for calling him "suspect" and making light of his views when I was not even willing to discuss them further with him. I would like to apologize to willieH, for telling him to repent and convert, over and over again and accusing him of not accepting the Gospel, when I, after some thought on what was written, understand what he was trying to tell me, that he just got a completely different view on the part that I had quoted. I would like to apolize to pneuma, for calling something he said a false teaching, when I didn't even attempt to discuss it with him at all. And I would also like to apogize to everyone at tentmaker, whom read my posts, specifically for calling it "a pit" and such other derogatory terms, especially, since I was told that many reforms had been made and many of the threads and such had been deleted, and yet, even though I was told this a couple of times, did not forgive, and still held the site accountable for writings that aren't even there anymore. This apology is sincere, and if I offended any other then please accept my apologies.

God didn't tell me to post the way I did, and though while I do feel that I have a little freedom, yet only in things that consist of charity and that I may do with good conscience. As my posts obviously lacked any bit of charity, they obviously do not leave me in good conscience and thus are merely a dead work, though, God, in his mercy, has at least even used my dead work to correct me and to learn a lesson.

Though I am left without an excuse, yet if I might attempt to come up with one it would be this. That I started too many threads at the same time and, with many discussions within the threads, I soon found that I was actually in about 20 (give or take) discussions at the same time, I had bit off more than I could chew and started lashing out in my defence. If you don't think that I'm a mature enough christian to post on the tenmaker forum, I certainly do understand, but I do ask that you shall at least forgive me in your hearts for the things I said (wrote).

God Bless

Hi SeekerSA,

I'd just read it in my email account.  Gary Amirault had forwarded it to me.  I was simply going to make sure that WillieH and Pneuma had copies of it, but then I got to thinking about the apology included to everyone at Tentmaker, and the fact that it was more than a couple of people's feathers that had gotten ruffled by "challenger." :icon_jokercolor:

(I said ruffled, not "challenged."  There was a tad bit of 'tude in his posts.)

So, I was debating the appropriate board for posting this and waiting for the Holy Spirit's input on whether or not to post it.  Since you've already posted it in the moderator's section of the boards, I'll simply move it over to the Discussions on UR board.  Doesn't quite fit the threatenings board, yet because Challenger's threads are on the publicly viewable boards, I feel that this should likewise be on a publicly viewable board because of lurkers at various stages of understanding or rejection of the UR message.  Both because of Challenger's threads having been public and because it includes an apology to everyone at Tentmaker, I'm making this easily viewable.  Maybe after a couple of weeks it can be moved to the Testimonies board.  We'll go with whatever the Holy Spirit says at that time about it though.  I run IPs with borderline obsessive compulsive regularity on days when I'm particularly bored out of my mind, so I know for a fact that easily twice as many members of the Tentmaker forum lurk without being logged in to post.  So, I'm sure this will be cause for gratitude to the Lord on the part of quite a few members that just occasionally login, but who've been aware of arcticmonster's situation.

I'm very deeply touched by this and will be seeking the Holy Spirit about whether or not to lift the ban on his account(s), or whether just to forward his email address to any members that want to stay in touch.  Lord Jesus had spoken very clearly about the ban, and as I see, it's born very beautiful repentant fruit.  A couple of Scriptures from 1st and 2nd Corinthians are occuring to me with sorta an inner smile that's not quite me, so as soon as I'm 100% sure... :cloud9:

Ditto. I appreciate the apology and he was and is forgiven. Going through changes can be difficult, and we are all human.

I've invited him back.  I told him that the ban had been lifted from his account and that if he wanted to start over with a third account 'cause of neither arcticmonster2003 or challenger particularly reflecting where he's at now, that that was fine too.  So, if he comes back it'll either be as arcticmonster2003, challenger, or somebody new in Welcome Central.  What was odd about that situation was that I agreed with a whole lot of what he was saying this year, that some Universalists have side-stepped the Biblical statements about the chastening aspects of the Gospel and of our heavenly Father.  As far as I'm concerned, this was purely a clash over conduct rather than paradigm.  But his apology that starts this thread is so loud, that I can't remember anything that he did wrong where anyone was concerned.

Most of the Christians that I've known over the course of my life time didn't have what it took to admit when they were wrong and to repent.  Either the fears were too pronounced of that being used against them, they wanted to save a face that they'd already lost in the eyes of others, or they couldn't get off of their high horse about what caused them to behave that way for fear that they'd be interpreted as recanting on this or that that they'd behaved ugly about.  So, if he comes back as either arcticmonster2003, challenger, or by some other name, we will be talking to a real Christian, and we should expectantly expect based on James chapter 5 for any healing to take place that's needed to take place in his life, whether bodily or in some other way -- whether he ever fully sees eye-to-eye with any of us or not.

Our sole responsibility is to rightly discern the Body.

Being called a false teacher or one of false teaching comes with the territory brother, and I have learned not to take offence when people say this of me so I took no offence to your words AM. As a matter of fact AM I took up a defence on your behalf with the mods over these issues. So thanks for the appology AM and there is no hard feeling from me.

God bless

Thanks for being so understanding and forgiving.

willieH: Hi A-M... :hithere:

This is my first knowledge of this apology, and I certainly make it a point to forgive anyone who asks for it... and even those who do not...  :friendstu:

No hard feelings from me... you have the right to express yourself... as well as to hold the particular beliefs that you believe...

We all are "up to challenges" here, ...but within that, we must all be "up for LOVE" as well!

We, if we are to be considered disciples at all... must hold FORGIVENESS of others, higher than anything... for it is when we do this... that

:love4: JESUS looks a lot like us...  :giveheart:

We love you bro...  :cloud9:
