It says "Christ reigns for ever and ever" then says "Christ quits reigning" to prove that "for ever and ever" can't be unending. Get it?

I removed it Apoc, as it classifies as baiting...no need to get an argument started back up just for the sake of it.  IMO, if the other party that was specifically addressed had posted the same thing in reverse, that would have also needed removed.  If there's really something to discuss related to the topic, that's great, no problem.  If you request, I'll remove the posts from your last Q down through this one if you prefer.  James.

I agree with that. But I must add the post, a quote, was not really about aidos but about aionian.
Many ETs (are starting to/forced to) agree aion is age and not "for ever". But they still claim aionian is eternal. This thread is an example of it. So my last two quotes from an e-book show that both Christians and Philo that aionian as not "for ever".
The e-book even shows an example that aionian is used for a timespan of three generations.
The quotes are mainly from the early church fathers. I found it intrestingly enough to post but not enough to start a whole new thread about it so I just added it to an old thread on the same topic. That's all. :friendstu:
