Title: [Eternal] Hell is a Place Created Out of God's Mercy
Post by: jabcat on January 03, 2019, 05:36:17 AM
I saw this argument on another site;

"Hell is forever, or else God is not just nor merciful; that a martyr would spend eternity in the same place as his unrepentant murderer, that Judas' act of betray means nothing in the end; that even Satan, eternally proud because of his spiritual nature, will suddenly humble himself before God?

Hell is a place created out of God's Mercy- because God does not force anyone to love Him forever, He does not force those who hate Him forever to be in Heaven, and so, these souls who are so offended by the mere presence of God are put in the place where they desire and belong- the place farthest away from God."

:pitiful:

If you truly knew God, and not just about Him, you would want to be closest to Him, not the farthest! I guess God is unjust as some are saved, huh?

The cross is created out of God's mercy. To show His love for His children.

That debunks his own claim.

Saul killed many. Was on his way too round up the next batch of victims (Messians).
Without the experience on the road to Damascus he never would have become Paul.
Does that mean God isn't just because not every massmurder gets a similar experience?

"Spending eternity with an unrepentant murder..."

The flip side of this:

Jews who died in the holocaust, whose main sin was not being Christian, will in this scenario spend eternity with THEIR unrepentant torturers and murderers.

That doesn't sound too merciful.

And another scenario:

A murderer who killed a Christian...then the murderer has a deathbed conversion...now they will be together in heaven eternally.  The idea here is forgiveness.

Would be 'fun' if God in the White-Throne-Judgement-Room, announces that UR is false and His only rule used is:
"For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

ETs with a flaw will burn because that's how they judged others.
URs with a flaw will enter heaven because they judged everyone into heaven.

:beerburp: Too much doctrinal kool-aid.. SO pitiful, and also very spiteful.. and just plain insane.. and sorry, but bordering on psychotic? Seriously..

:Chinscratch: In the outside the vision narrative of Rev.22 it says nothing that offends can enter the city (the Kingdom of God/Kingdom of Heaven) ...I can't help but think such an attitude as this, is very highly offensive!
