In recovering communities, there are sponsor/sponsee relationships.  I truly understand the need for us to see healthy living...modeled for us.

Am I the only one craving, aching to have a spiritual mentor?  Someone who is living it...walking out love in all their affairs?  Where are these men?  Where are these women?

Oh Shawn, pray for them! I prayed to Father for friends and longed for mentors too, like you. He has blessed me beyond measure!! They are out there! "Ask and it shall be given..."  :HeartThrob:

When the student is ready, the Master will appear.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.
