Hello,

I had a recent meeting with Christian friends. While discussing various things, like the morality of the Old-Testament God, etc... I admitted, that if Christianity is true, I think that God will be an Origen-like apokatastatic being who restores all things to himself.

Then a girl who attends the local Chuch in Bulgaria "Good News" said:

Do you know? My pastor said that one day while reading the Bible he felt God's love... He felt that God is so good that he is actually going to save everyone on this Earth...

But he then refused to accept this thought because this is heresy..

What the...? I wonder how many people are actually feeling this is actually what is going to happen, but never actually believe in it...

Hi B_T,

Perhaps that pastor has a inner struggle between his heart and his intellect?
I could fully understand that because I have the same. With different parameters
My brain is an atheist but my  :HeartThrob: isn't that sure (anymore).
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

That pastor might also lose his job very quickly if he went open about his experience...
Behold, I make a few things new.

I've found this recently when talking to people about Rob Bell's latest book, "Love Wins." It's amazing the number of folk who say, "I've been thinking that for a long time. It makes a lot of sense." People are following very different paths to this viewpoint, but I think many are further down the path than we realised.

I believe whole heartedly that He will save all.   And I only speak words of life. If I spoke like the pastor above, I would be a speaker of Death to my hearers.

so I only think, speak, and express life. So if my pastor, or anyone wants to think etc. differantly so be it. They will come around
