A place for people to post little nuggets of graceful observations, to share with the community. :)

Here is mine.

Most people do indeed celebrate the original sabbath (Saturday) just as it was intended;

Rest from work, goof off, have fun, fellowship with the community, socialise, have get-together's, pray, talk, listen, learn, live, etc.

The added benefit really, is an extra day of sabbath at the beginning of the week (Sunday).  Such is the grace of the omniscient God who gave us two days in grace for the price of one day under the law.

I am afraid that is not the way the original Sabbath was celebrated.

Rest from work, fellowship.  Seems appropriate to me.  The rest is modern day application.

I am afraid you missed the point of the post.

Yes it's truly a blessing from God that the 2 days we get off is, one the sabbath day and the other being the tradditional church day.

Thank goodness God's grace allows us to not worry about a specific day.
