Elementary Principles=

"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment."

Leaving elementary principles requires the work of God....

"And this will we do, if God permit."

Child = paidion

1. A young child/ little one/ infant.

2. One recently born.

3. Children in intellect.

Son = huios

2. Growth by/in faith into conformity with the Father's nature.
Are our broadest hopes broad enough? Shall there be a nook or abyss, in all the universe of God, finally unlightened by the Cross? Shall there be a sin, or sorrow, or pain unhealed? Is the very universe, is creation in all its extent, a field wide enough for the Son of God?
