How do you study the Bible? What's next in your meditations of Scripture?

Strictly lexicons and concordances or rereading it over and over until you get it?  How do you study and what would you like to know about how to study the Bible?  Do you ever take a book of the Bible and read it as many times in a month, or some other segment of the year or an entire year until you've felt like you've exhausted all that He's able to get across to you for the time being?  Do you ever read an entire book of the Bible over and over again UNTIL you get it, but don't move on much UNTIL you've got what is humanly possible from it with reading all of the translations you can get of it, reading everybody's commentary on it, etc.?  New Year's is on the horizon.  Do you have a particular book of the Bible that's top priority for getting absolutely all you can out of that book in the New Year, even if it means reading the whole thing 365 to 730 to 1095 times?

I'm unable to read the Bible.
I learn the most from picking a subject.
To name a few:
- Local or global flood.
- Creation took 6 literal days or billions of years.
- Did Daniel predict the events in Revelation.
- Marriage.
- Farming.

Such studies make you go through many parts of the Bible and read a lot of articles on the subject if done right.
For me those studies gave a good outline of the Bible. At least I feel they did.
I also learned that Jewish scholars have a very different oponion of OT facts than many western scholars. Notebly on the first 2 points.
