I used to believe in 'free-will' more than I do now.. man (and wo-man's) ability to choose more than I do now.. I still believe people make many choices, but when it comes to salvation, or whether or not one is one of the "elect".. well, I used to believe in choice a bit more than I certainly don't now!

Slowly, since no longer believing folks have any "choice" in the matter at all (being or not being of the 'elect' during this brief life span or not) - I've come to think of "the Lake of Fire, age-during" as "worst case scenario"

After all, the Father of all is all powerful and also perfect and surely(?) perfection makes no mistakes, and nothing can stand in the way of His will, nor delay His will or any such thing.. there for it seems highly logical to me, that the non-elect (little tongue in cheek) will not require any more stringent tactics to bring them round than what was needed for 'the elect'.

Why should the process for those of the 2nd resurrection be any different than that for all those of the first resurrection? If God is all powerful and nothing can forbid His will?

Where are the verses which say, after death (and being resurrected) no space (or time) for convincing by God's Spirit, for repentance, and for belief/realizing/knowing and transformation?

Where are the verses which spell that out? That there's  no chance to "believe" / come to faith except to be resurrected, witness judgment 'day' then be cast into the LOF as a second death, either as torment or as repose, then a 3rd resurrection..?

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
==> Both=2

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone , where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
==> 1 is added. Total=3
==> No others are mentioned.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
==> 1 is added. Total=4. I think death is the angel Abaddon, Hades in Greek (?)
==> Who is in hell/grave? The unresurrected?

Rev 20:15 And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
==> Many others are added.

The famous Matthew 25

Matt 25:31-46 (AKJV)
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say to them on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungered, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in:
36 Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, and fed you? or thirsty, and gave you drink?
38 When saw we you a stranger, and took you in? or naked, and clothed you?
39 Or when saw we you sick, or in prison, and came to you?
40 And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it to me.
41 Then shall he say also to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungered, and you gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and you took me not in: naked, and you clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and you visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to you?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

So to me it looks like 4 + an undefined number will be cast into LoF.
