Should A Man Be Older Than His Wife?

This is something I have always wondered about. Since Adam was made first (before Eve) I have heard the argument that a man should be older than his wife. Does this have any truth? Or is there nothing in scripture about this?

Adam and Eve don't give you any information regarding the age of both.
There are different interpretations but let stick to teh most classic one.
Adam was created as an adult. But what age 18, 20, 35? Lets assume 35
Eve was created as a full grown woman. But how old was she created? 18 or perhaps 40

Would'nt God make them around the same age? Since Adam came first I think its safe to assume he would be older since he was on the earth longer.

Since they claim that the woman usually outlives the man, then perhaps if she were older then they'd have a better chance of dying together.  Age really has no baring on it, as far as love, maturity levels, levels of commitment, etc.  They could be the same age, months apart, years apart, and it shouldn't really matter as long as the commitment is there.  It's all a matter of preferences and having a genuine commitment.  And I don't buy into the nonsense that people are automatically looking for someone like their father or mother.  I'm not sure if that's really what anybody ever gets.  People that think that are probably often projecting unresolved issues wtih their parent onto that significant other.
