I wrote to you in my letter not to be mingling with those who are having nonmarital sexual intercourse.  It positively didn't mean with those of this world who are having nonmarital sexual intercourse, or those who are greedy and take things by force, or those who are idol worshipers, since to do that you would have to go out of the world.  Yet it is a fact that I wrote to you not to be mingling with anyone who is being called a brother or sister, if that person is a person who is having nonmarital sexual intercourse, or a person who is greedy, or a person who is an idol worshiper, or a person who wounds with words, or a person who is a drunkard, or a person who takes things by force.  You shouldn't even eat [at love feasts] with such a person.  Because what responsibility do I have to judge outsiders [unbelievers]?  Isn't it those who are inside [Believers] that you are to judge?  Now God will judge the outsiders.  You must expel the wicked person from among yourselves!  I Corinthians 5:9-13
