Hi all,
One thing that bothers me is how those of the "church" latch on to anything Jesus (or the Scriptures) say and spout it out as their own. No reflection, no questioning, no doubt. Jesus said it, that does it.

Well, for those who say that this is how a "Christian" should be, I ask:
If Jesus said things so that people would understand, then what do we do with statements such as, "I came that those that see might be made blind." and "I speak to them in parables so that they do not understand."

Now do you think it just might be possible that God would send a word to us in order to make us CONFUSED? Or to HIDE something?

I think it might be so, folks..

Just look at how much the religious people of Jesus' day were studying the Scriptures. And yet God fooled them!

Will He fool us again?

Would love your thoughts.....

Love,
Brian

:cloud9: Good point. Yes, He does. The veil, at His direction was woven with cherubims in it. The veil was formed from our eating of the shewbread in the light of the candlestick. Cherubims are the imaginations or imaginary figures/images of men that were woven in. He allowed us to believe things that were not of the image of Christ all along in our walk.

Knowing the "right doctrines" are NEVER going to be enough to get us past that veil, for one thing only HE can show us which ones are "cherubim proof". Which is as it should be, because that puts the responsibility for it squarely where it should be, and that is on the unmerited favor of the Father who rends the veil, so that no man can boast and say he did it. Blessings.....
