Title: No ET'er I've talked to...
Post by: Eduard on May 28, 2013, 06:17:48 AM
Has been able to tell me why the ALL, as in "All in all" does not mean ALL but means "some"

We, on the other hand, can tell them that kolasis and aionios do not mean sadistic torture and eternal, and most importantly, we can remind them that God is L-O-V-E  :HeartThrob:

That's because the truth has been hidden from them.  God will be all the more glorified when the truth is eventually seen be ALL.  Praise to the Lord God Almighty, Yahweh!  :HeartThrob:

Just this morning I read 1 Corinthians 15:28 in the Amplified Bible: "However, when everything is subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also subject Himself to [the Father] Who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in all [be everything to everyone, supreme, the indwelling and controlling factor of life]."

How could it be any clearer than that?

IMO, If God veils something from us, we will not see it. :2c:

All my Christian life, the answer I've always gotten when asked about "ALL" is that
the verses that contain that mean "all" Christians/believers that accepted Christ before death.

I love it when people try to explain a scripture that contradicts their point of view.
The most popular? "What God meant to say" "What God was trying to say" "What God actually meant by that..."
Raise your hand if you've had scripture "explained" to you so you would see things the same way the
influential person in their spiritual life sees it.

I know you can't see me, but I'm raising my hand. :laughing7:
