Yes, I?m aware of Yume Nikki. I?ve watched gameplay of it. People theorizing what sort of symbolism is behind certain scenes. I have not played it myself personally, I only really know it from general Internet culture. Some say its genre is ?psychological horror?, but through Christ, we have no reason to fear. The love of Christ protects us from any sort of negative feeling of being scared.

Truly, there?s no need for anyone to fear punishment, because all punishment is correctional in nature, done in love by the Lord Christ, and as such, all punishment is temporary. All suffering in the world will come to the end. There?s nothing horrifying about that, it?s truly the good news that all people will eventually become believers in Christ to have their sins blotted out and thus be made perfectly clean to be happy in paradise, New Jerusalem, permanently :D
I?ve heard Yume Nikki inspired the creator of the horror visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club, Dan Salvato (who?s game ended up getting featured by Sakurai, the creator of Smash Bros and Kirby on his Youtube channel). I remember playing DDLC without seeing what other people thought of it, wanted to give my thoughts on it without outside opinions. And going into it without knowing what to expect, I admit, it made it harder to sleep that night because I was scared. I think some visual novels try to be ?horror? like Umineko, but that one?s more like murder mystery. I was surprised to see Umineko feature the following Bible verse

Of course, I rebuke the witches that promote false religions like paganism, the Lord desires all people to come to the truth, that Christ is the One True God and everyone will become believers in Him, yes, even those who practice witchcraft through fake religions, they will become believers in the true religion, Christianity <3
Like some horror games I don?t find that scary to be honest, like Five Nights at Freddy?s who?s creator Scott Cawthon is a Christian. (my personal favorite entry is the 3rd installment). At first, maybe they?ll startle you with jumpscares, but after that, it?s more gameplay focused I feel lol.

Many of these horror games feature ?demons?. The Lord rebukes all evil spirits of course, but seeing the horrible sins that some demons can do inside of these fictional (fake) series can be accurate to real life (non-fiction), such as disobeying God by murdering people, which is evil, or physical assault violence, which the Lord is completely against.

@HSong, I have something to say. There will be times when I don't feel comfortable with Touhou at times, because in Touhou 17 & 17.5, the "exposure" of some characters makes me uncomfortable, because of my past with sexual immorality which ruined my mind. What can I do?

My Christian friend and I run a Slack server to promote Christianity and two new users joined, so greeted them. Emailed another Christian friend, etc.

I showed my mother and sister news stories like this one since they are both girls and can be at risk unfortunately. My younger sister, who is a minor under 18 years old, is looking for a driving instructor, and just recently one of the driving instructors we contacted asked for a 2 hour lesson. 2 hours!?!?! That?s so long. What sort of sexual sins could this stranger commit on my sister in a locked vehicle? There are many evil things people can do to others. Forcibly drug, murder, rape. Those are all evil wrongdoings which the Lord is against. But how can one trapped in that situation even flee? Luckily, we did not give this man our house address. We took the steps to prevent sexual immorality here, and you can also take steps to prevent it too.
Therefore, I hope that you are able to flee successfully from sexual immorality my friend. Sometimes, there can be situations where we can be in harm, so it?s important to recognize them in advance and act with caution. That?s action that you can do. Looking ahead to see if the scenario you?re about to go into could lead you into committing sexual sin and thus avoiding it. Though, even if anyone were to stumble, the Lord is faithful with all people, He will never give up caring about you, my friend.
In terms of being ruined, I don?t think anyone can be permanently ruined. Sure, some may experience ruin temporarily, but after wounds come healing. So I hope that your mind will be healed by the Almighty God as well :)
