"imo, the walk of the early church is still available, empowered by the Spirit and full of the LOVE and LIGHT of the Lord, who is the LOGOS.  However, that walk is available only through the body - it always brings forth and edifies the body.  The individual growth of brothers and sisters always leads to the edification of the body.  (Romans 12, Ephesians 4, 1 Cor 12-14, Acts 2 and 4).

"I pray that you may be one even as I and the Father are one"     John 17

Is Paul's words Paul's words?  Or is it the Logos, God-breathed to be an anchor of the truth throughout this present age?  imo, it is the latter, but not by majoring on the minors - rather by understanding the flow of revelation through those words set in context with the words of Jesus, the prophets, and the other apostles - foundation stones.

As an "oracle", the word becomes illuminated and cohesive in two primary ways - the revelation and understanding given by the Spirit and the discernment gained through the exercise of our senses, spiritually in the experiences of our walk.

As the creative power of God the word becomes effectual and activated through the obedience of faith (By faith we know that the worlds were framed by the word of God ... Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.)  Rom 10:17

imo, as long as the word seems like conflicting bits and pieces to someone, 1)they are lacking the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God (Eph 1) and must pray for grace in understanding  2)they lack experience with the Spirit, the body and His ways in order to see and hear where the river is, that river that makes glad the city of God, flowing between the lines, beneath and above "the letter" - yet wholly in order, harmony and unity within that which has been written, and that which is the "Today if you hear His voice" - "Let the one who has ears to hear, hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches" of relevant testimony in the now of God.

imo seeing conflicts in the word, as if God did not write it or as if He didn't have the ability to sustain His own mind in the writers He chose as He unfolded His wisdom throughout the generations of His servants, simply beckons us further up, further in.  Rather than debate details here below, God calls us, "Come up here" (seated in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus) and "Come in here" (into the holy of holies) to be renewed in our minds, so that we can "prove what is the good and the acceptable (to God) will of God."  Rom 12:1-3"
