Yes I noticed that, I don't even fit in with my family.
I am glad you brought this up, I wanted to but didn't have the courage.
I don't even want to fit in anymore.

Amen, SQ,
The space He is putting between His called-out-ones and the world is widening.
Sometimes, when I look at people and talk with them, I realize that it is not with flesh and blood we travail, but with the powers and principalities of the spirits.

I'm the exact same.
It was confusing, at first, until I realized Who my Father is.

Sometimes I wonder when I can go home, I am not depressed but it may seem so.
Do you or anyone else feel this way often?
When you were a child did you feel you didn't fit in?

Yes, as a child, through school and the cruelty of peers to others.
In the business world — with it's primary lack of compassion and fairness within its pursuit of its religion called money.
For we can not but or sell without the mark.
I hate the world and its trappings, yet so love creation that I follow on to know the Lord.

Wow, I understand.
When I was younger I wanted to fit in somewhat but never did.
I was and am nothing special, but yet never fit in.
I decided I would live like the world never fit in there either.
Shortly after 2000 I knew I was to leave church, just as well.
I will read this for a while.
I intend to chime in later, I feel like an open book!
I am glad you started this thread it should be very helpful.  :HeartThrob:

Maybe I should stop, but I wanted to say something else, would it be helpful if I keep posting?

We are strangers on this planet.  Sent out as lambs among wolves, like sheep led to slaughter all the day.

Yes, of course, keep posting.
I'll add too.
This has been on my heart for years.

SQ,
There is no half-way with the Lord,
and
There will be a falling away.

I fell away, lived pretty wild for the longest then in 2000 I quit church completely.
Seems Ironic but when I was in church was when I lived like this.
It took one awful circumstance to keep me from ever going back.
I knew I was to not go back to church.
This is when I knew God starting calling me.
My heart was  changed in 2003.
I am embarrassed at all I did, then I poured my heart out too God.
I have never been the same.

Faithful and true is the Lord.
As dry as the desert is — there is the promise of milk and honey.
We must possess the Land (between our ears).
Drive out those that possess Canaan.

One other thing at this time, God is showing me how to love and forgive.
My mother never treated me so well, I left didn't want to ever deal with her on a regular basis again.
I kept in touch but at a long distance, Mom is sick with congestive heart failure I was in a position where I could help I didn't want to leave my home move 400 miles back to help.
God made it clear I had to come back and help.
I have been here for almost 2 years again, it has been a lesson for me as well as for her.
She found out the one that goes to her house every day help her clean her house give her meds is the one she disliked most of all.
I would be lying if I said I enjoyed every moment but it is a most humbling experience for both of us.

SQ ,
just  read this  , today , must have missed it ...
     God bless you sis!
seem those  the Lord has called out of the world   and Into Himself have '' very much in common '' ...
you have no idea  just how much ...  Dont loose heart sis , God will give you the strength to endure  and even overcome ..
its easy to say though and hard to DO  on a daily basis , but when the Lord draws you near ,  you just know its Him !  my own personal struggle is not to become bitter
, the test of faith ,,,  thats a  hard one to overcome when passing though the fires / trials ...

  my own words judge me

and shame seems to be what  I discuss with the Lord Jesus  :mblush:

give me the right words Lord and right heart  to deal with these things .. so far the Lord have been awesome  and  very faithul  ! am humbled and  thankful  to HIM!  :HeartThrob:

Isa 30:27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning [with] his anger, and the burden [thereof is] heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire

Jam 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

Jam 3:6 And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
Sometimes its the Lord  and sometimes its just the wrath of man that does not  work the righteousness of God ...

Thanks David , for  being  a faithul servant , you are not alone and are appreciated .... :HeartThrob:

God bless  everyone  at  or to do with TM ...

Hi rosered Yes exactly to all you have said.
I have went through the bitter part and no longer bitter with anyone.

I was laying in bed last night, seems like my insomina may be for a reason, I was meditating and asking to be fixed in my mind to fill it with the mind of Jesus.
This came to mind, you say you want to go home why do you want to escape.
The earth is a mission field and there is work to be done.
I said to myself I surely read that somewhere.
Then the thought so what if you did this life is not about you it is about helping and serving others, do good.

Wow how is that for a revealing? :HeartThrob:

Hebrews 6

7 When the ground soaks up the falling rain and bears a good crop for the farmer, it has God's blessing.

8 But if a field bears thorns and thistles, it is useless. The farmer will soon condemn that field and burn it.

9 Dear friends, even though we are talking this way,

we really don't believe it applies to you.

We are confident that you are meant for better things,

things that come with salvation.

10 For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers,[a] as you still do.

11 Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true.

12 Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith and endurance.

So praise God, it is as it should be.  You feel like a misfit.  You are supposed to be one.

Jesus, was born for a SIGN to be spoken against!!!

So even the sword moved thru the heart of his mother!!!

Many thoughts of many people were brought to light because of this SIGN!!!

YOU CAN'T CHANGE WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. HA

10 For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for God's holy people,  as you still do.

18 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.

19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary. 20 Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.

We are strangers and pilgrims here, if we are truly seeking the kingdom of our Father. Because the natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit, indeed, it is foolishness to them- what could seem more foolish than someone who is seeking a city with foundations in the heavens, made without hands, whose builder and maker is God. Yet, He has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise and mighty. All the days of your pilgrimage are precious in His sight.
"Blessed are the ones in whose hearts are the highways to Zion, passing through the valley of tears, they make it a spring of pools."
How could He anoint us with the good news that sets the captives free and binds up the broken hearts, unless we also had been captives, and strangers with broken hearts?
"By the rivers of Babylon we hung our harps, as our captors demanded of us songs. How can we sing the Lord's song in a foreign land? If I forget you oh Jerusalem may my right hand forget its skill and my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth."
Ahhhhh, but when the Lord restored the outcasts to Zion, we were as those who are in a dream......... :cloud9:
Psa 126:1-6  A Song of degrees. When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.  Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
