Ponder:  consider carefully

Psalm 14:2
The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any who understood, dealt wisely, and SOUGHT after God, inquiring for and of Him and requiring [of vital necessity].

Psalm 119:2
Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are they who keep His testimonies, and who SEEK, inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the WHOLE HEART. :HeartThrob:

Psalm 119:10
With my WHOLE HEART  :HeartThrob: have I SOUGHT You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You; Oh, let me not wander or step aside [either in ignorance or willfully] from Your commandments.

Psalm 27:8
You have said SEEK MY FACE [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need].  My HEART  :HeartThrob: says to You, Your face (Your Presence), Lord, will I SEEK, inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Word].

Psalm 119:58
I entreated Your favor with my WHOLE HEART  :HeartThrob:; be merciful and gracious to me according to Your promise.

Psalm 9:1
I will praise You, O Lord, with my WHOLE HEART  :HeartThrob: I will show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your marvelous works and wonderful deeds!

Psalm 138:1
I will confess and praise You [O God] with my WHOLE HEART  :HeartThrob:; before the rulers will I sing praises to You.

Jeremiah 24:7
And I will give them a HEART  :HeartThrob: to know (recognize, understand, and be acquainted with) Me, that I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will turn to Me with their WHOLE HEART  :HeartThrob:.

Joshua 22:5
But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you:  to love the Lord your God and to walk in all His ways and to keep His commandments and to cling to and unite with Him and to serve Him with ALL YOUR HEART  :HeartThrob: and soul[your very life]

NT
Mark 12:30
And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your WHOLE HEART   :HeartThrob: and all your life and all your mind (with your faculty of thought and moral understanding) and with all your strength.  This is the first and principal commandment.

v. 31  The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  There is no other commandment greater than these.

Psalms 14:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

I ride my bicycle to work early in the morning.  Venus is glowing big and  bright.

Happy Valentines day!

:HeartThrob:

What is this "valentines day?" What has it to do with my walk?

Just another day to be lovely.

A special day to be lovely.

I can see where it would be less then that for people who befuddled about love.  It is a good day to pray for love  for those who do not know love, or for some reason, do not have a particular love.  Every day is a day to care.

Just rocking the boat!

I "celebrate Valentine's Day"-- received a few and gave a few.  One that I received early this morning was a hand-made valentine (not by a child... an adult that knows that I truly appreciate hand-made gifts)...  my family, friends, fellow workers, fellowshippers etc. know that I love them... everyday... but I give valentines anyway because I know that they really enjoy "celebrating" and even count the number of valentines they receive.  Besides, for me it's just another occasion to discuss the love of God...

I just couldn't resist sharing 2/14 as "Heart Day"... I knew that Psalm 14:2 tells us of God's longing for all men to seek Him and I'm still in the process of refining the Seekers Devotional which is based on Ps119:2  Seek Him with Whole Heart and am using many of the "whole heart" verses in the devotional...

Perhaps, I should change the title to 'HEART DAY--every day"???  :)

BTW ed... Psalm 14 has only 7 verses.  The Psalm you are quoting is Psalm 19:14 and Psalm 19 has another verse with "heart" in it  v. 8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the HEART; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Matt 4:4
Jesus ...It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
every word: precepts, statutes, commandments, law, testimonies, etc.   Psalms 19 and 119 tell us much about the word ...

Awesome Anna....................

I'm married male and getting flowers definitely helps my walk!

Cool insight on Psa 19.

Psa 19:14(oops) Has been a personal favorite of mine for years.  Part of my memory verses that helped me keep my mind renewed as a youngster.  Seeking after God with the whole heart.  Love it.
