Jeromes Conspiracy and the claims made about Jude and 2nd Peter

According to that book, the claims have been made that these books were not really considered inspired and pseudonymous.  In fact, the book seems to be saying that those books are based more on "Enochian" theology than Christian theology.  The claims made was that Jerome added these two books were added by Jerome to get people to believe in Enochian theology.  It is true that if Jude and 2 Peter are read literally, they can seem to portray an apocalypse of extremely violent burning of the universe and destruction. 

Im not trying to claim that Jude or 2 Peter are non-canonical, but Im a little confused about why the claim was made in the book about Jude and 2 Peter being non-canonical.
