Not counting sins against us?

Since Paul says in 2 Cor 5:19 that "in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them"  why does he also say shortly before that in verse 10 that "we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil."

Don't those 2 statements contradict?  If the evil we have done is not being held against us, then how is that we are to receive what is due because of it?

Concerning the whole verse of not holding our trespasses against us.

I think the rest of the verse is how we are held accountable but our trespasses will not be held "TO" us.

It means we will be delivered from them by what means is necessary to  Exchangeour trespassesfor conciliation.

It simply means that we do not pay for our sins FOREVER.

Okay, thanks Phaze, that really helped.  I had something like that running around in my head as I was reading but couldn't quite pin it down.
