Freewill is a myth and here's proof

I think this thing about free will is a matter of the relative and the absolute. Our human will that comes from God provides the option to choose to do good or to do evil while we're influenced by spiritual forces we may even be unaware of, but we are only free in a relative sense because we are all subject to God's will.

I agree absolutley. :o) It is when we try to draw the line where relative becomes absolute that we get in trouble and exceed the word of God.

I want to say at this point that I have tried to stay out of this discussion, and that we ought not start up an either an indoctrination thread for any one point of view, or a new "free will sov" debate here, as this has been clearly limited by the site and previously debated ad infinitum. There is a thread that was established for the "free will- sov" discussion so that it could be closely moderated, since for some people it can only be forcefully discussed.

There are differing points of view. The idea is to discuss our opinions about them, so, since the thread began as a declaration that free will is a myth, it was already close to the line.

Everyone knows that God reigns ultimately sovereign over time and and over all beings. However, there is much disagreement as to how His liberality extends itself in the learning processes of life and to what degree He "directs" us. "drags" us or "draws" us. I am going to continue to try to hold my own opinions out....but if this turns into a thread where "declarations" that there is only one correct view continue.... I will discuss locking it with the other mods.
