Will the laws of nature still apply in heaven?

I think that there still needs to be natural law in heaven.  I think that just because we're face-to-face with God now doesn't mean that we should be able to ask him to use his omnipotent powers to do crazy things like time travel, making an exact duplicate of someone's soul that has the same memories, ect., because I think that having the ability to do things like that can be very dangerous.  I think that certain things still need to be considered "scientifically impossible" in heaven in order to protect people from themselves.  I know that there will be know pain or sadness in heaven, it's just that I would feel safer if I had assurance that God would never allow people to use his omnipotent powers to do crazy things.

So, what I'm asking is, are there any scriptures that support that there will still be some natural law in heaven?

DC, I don't think you have anything to worry about, everything is going to be done according to God's will not ours and you can be assured that whatever he does will be for our benefit and for the good of all.

Well, if heaven has any resemblance to life here, you bet I'm gonna ask if I can time travel, explore existance itself and a number of other things.  I am crazy and I like it.  ;)

Timetravel is inferior stuff. God can't/doesn't timetravel because He in every time at the same time. :winkgrin:
If heaven is the same as earth then there was no point for Jesus to die. If everything was teh same as on earth the new skills would be used to for more advanced warfare.

I think when all will be consummated in Christ (Eph. 1: 10) there will still be "laws" that we might adhere to but God's law will be written in our hearts already...

When God is All in All, all will be made as perfect as He is.

I may be wrong but I don't believe there will be any laws. Laws have consequences and punishments. I don't think there will be a need for any laws.

actually . . .there will be two laws.  Jesus brought the kingdom of heaven to earth and with him came the fulfillment of natural religious law so that spiritual law could make the transition.  It was "because" of this spiritual law that God sent and Jesus came, died and most importantly, he resurrected.  It's based on God's government . . .which is simply . . .love.  Love God and love each other.  For God so loved that he gave.

Keep in mind that his ways are so out there from our ways.  In fact, the more I get into this, the more evident it becomes.  And that is, when you take what you think is the logical thing, the most reasonable explanation, and simply turn it upside down, "then" you come close to seeing how the kingdom of heave operates.  First becomes last, least becomes greatest.  Instead of punching someone back who punched me first, I turn the other cheek . . .it makes no sense to love my enemies, but these are the ways of the kingdom based on the law of love. 

He prayed that his kingdom in the spirit would manifest in this kingdom on earth . . .love is the manifestation, the evidence that Jesus' prayer is being answered since the day he first uttered the words "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on this earth . . .as it already is in heaven.

No lucky for me I landed right on top of someones big belly, the guy was built like a tank, I looked around and I saw windmills and tulips, I think the guy was from Holland. After I got up I heard him blaspheming the holy spirit, saying how the spirit don't exist, that voice he heard to 'get out of the way' was just an illusion a mistranslation. I thought this must be my lucky day, not only he broke my fall, but now I have got him to be unforgiven in this age and the next age.

Perhaps we are all fallen demons, there is a case for it .eg. Judas is called a demon, the pharisses are told that their father is the devil.
