More people needing hope?

 I've been questioned, even pulled aside lately by people looking for hope.Most have been in turmoil because a family member or a good friend has passed away.
I know God has been setting me up to run into these people.it just happened again on sunday ,we were invited by a senior couple to hear a friend speak from another province.These people know I don't attend any particular church anymore but they asked our family to come out anyway.We didn't have a chance to chat since we ended up talking to the speaker mostly afterward.
So after we decided as a family to go for lunch.Yup ,you guessed it we run into this same couple who invited us.They eventually sit at our table and we discuss God's ultimate plan.She in particular was having a hard time with the parable about the virgins running out of oil.She feared of her own demise I believe and was looking for reassurance.The parable sermon was given at her church recently and it sure scared her.
So I hope she received hope
Now yesterday I receive a cd set(kirk cameron/and ray called hell exposed) from a gentleman .So now I'm in communication with him as well.
Either they are looking for a more loving God or I'm suddenly on everybodies hit list!
So I'm curious if anyone else is noticing an increase?
