Hello,

did you ever have a spiritual experience in connection to UR? Like, a vision or heard God's voice or something like this?

Thanks for an answer...

  Hi Daniel ,

I have  been at the Tentmaker    for a long time now as you    , I sure remember   you !!
I have also had some   talks with you over the years .
I   believe you have come a long way !!

Yes  we do have some strange  things   happen to us  when encountering the   Lord   and  sure is  hard to explain    to just anyone .

When I read Job 33  , it was  most helpful because   many times it was at night or early in the mornings   even still   when learning and things happen .

Jesus is the reward  !!

I have had experiences with the Holy Spirit directing me and telling me things.
Not that I heard voices, but I felt as though thoughts that were not my own were appearing, usually suddenly, into my own thoughts.

I have not had any of these experiences linked with UR, specifically.

I will share more, tonight.

Yes I have. I used to try to figure out where the line was between those saved and not saved, those going to heaven and those going to hell (yuk). I couldn't figure it out and in my mind the circle of those I thought were saved was getting bigger and slowly just by logic I got the idea that maybe everyone would be saved. Then when reading Romans 5 I got excited when I got to verse 18,

So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.

But even though I was excited about the possibility, it was still just a doctrine that I hoped was true. Then about 6 months later I came across a web site "Why Jesus Died" and a couple seconds later in a flash I KNEW that everyone would be saved.

That's the short version. It took a few years to work out the questions so I would be able to explain to arguers about it, but for me the question was answered and even though I had questions about certain verses, there was no way I could go back even if I had tried.  :dsunny: :dsunny:

I was raised Catholic but fell away. I have always been searching for God though. I looked into other religions, some new agey stuff, was agnostic for a while, then I met a Christian who would talk to me a lot about her beliefs, and one night after talking to her I had a powerful spiritual experience where I felt the love of God/holy spirit and felt repentance for my sins. It blew my mind and left me feeling changed, so I went out and bought a bible and tentatively began reading.  I bounced around to a couple Protestant and Catholic Churches but never felt satisfied, but prayed and read the bible and found answers that way.  Then I began talking to a friend that converted from Catholicism to a very KJV believing Protestant church that believes almost everyone is going to hell. Prior to this point I mostly focused on how God was changing me but didn't give hell much thought (or pushed it out of my brain). I began to feel worried (what if I wasn't good enough, what if my kids fell away from believe in Jesus, what about all of my family and friends who aren't practicing at all)... I began to stay up at night thinking, reading... It was a time of huge anxiety and fear and worrying. I came across some UR resources online like Tentmaker and I wanted it to be true but I was also fearful that it was wrong. I desperately prayed to God and said that I wanted to know, once and for all so I could have peace, is UR true? And then I opened my bible app to read and the first verse that was on the screen (the verse of the day) was "every knee shall bow..." And I cried. It felt to me that it was an answer to my prayer.

great testimony !!  Dandy , Bushy , and GIL   !!

I have heard   that returning to God  is like taking off the filthiest , stiffest. vilest  work clothes  ever .

The freedom of being 100%  Spirit  is going to be glorious ...

How many even get 5 % in this life or 10%   being in the Spirit , like a taste ,  you begin to crave  and desire more  and more of  God /Love  and  a peace you have never had in this life  ever ,finally arrives  and  envelops us   .

Says,  the pure in heart shall see God ,
I am  so convinced  that religion has it all wrong , that they teach you to fear the fire .
But I am convinced it is the  pure Fire of Gods love   that cleanses our hearts to  be in His presence .

Brethren, I do not reckon to have laid hold of it yet, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and extending myself unto those things which are ahead.

.keep on keeping on  and looking forward  for more good things , God things ..

When I was 19 ,  and the view  was darkness was all around  but    I saw the  Light but did not go past it  or up into it ....but  a glimpse , there was chaos around and voices  and  stress
But  the one nearest said they saw the Light  in my eyes  and it scared them    and did not understand what was happening .
I did not either , but I knew in my heart   that I was spared a sure death of the physical   form that day .

I had never heard of Universal Reconciliation   ever , but when my sister told me about UR   several years later , I  could not say I did or did not believe it was possible  .

Than when I read   Jesus saying , When the disciples heard this they were greatly astonished and asked, "Who then can be saved?"

26Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

I knew it than , GOD is in complete control and nothing can stop His  will/ desire from being done   EVER ...

It is not Gods will that any should  perish  , but is long suffering towards us all ,  that  everyone  will have the same chance to admit or acknowledge  and declare  and honor GOD    .

God is more than fair ! He is   beyond merciful  to us all.
Jesus is the reward  !!

What great posts! :cloud9: :cloud9:

I came to the Lord in 1979, and never really believed the hell doctrine - it's just so extremely illogical! Taking into light how "God is love" and.. "is light, and in Him is no darkness at all". And I was a happy and at peace christian, though with the beating out of the chaff going on too of course.. Then about 20 years ago, our son asked me two questions -

"Why was the tree of knowing good and evil in the garden?" and "Isn't it great we get to be an ant farm?" (quote- A cynic is a frustrated idealist!) I answered him, but I wasn't satisfied with my answers, to my ears, they fell short. So I prayed for better understanding and answers. And wow, they seemed to come back, pretty much like "bam!" with a couple more bams thrown in. I'll tell ya, those insignts keep being magnified til these days I'm not sure my feet touch the ground any more. Which is good as those bams knocked my socks off and they're still knocked off. Trust (ing Him) is a great blessing!! (And shield/of faith).

The short answer would be, we're not an ant farm. Longer, when He created rational creatures, a whole new world (er, tree) of possibilities came about, because with thinking ability comes the ability to make choices (limited as they are, and when we are saved is all His choice). And God only able to be honest, there was that tree in the original garden.

I'm telling it like I received it.. first was the image of God alone and spreading our before His vision was every possibility that is possible, and how He has done all things just as He has in order to bring about the very best of all possibilities. And how Jesus as the firstborn of all creation.. (the original, the creation template I'm thinking these days).

Endowing thinking ability, sooner or later someone, somewhere, somewhen was bound to think "say.. do we really have to do all things His way?" - And we have the record of this occurring in high angel Lucifer. God however, is the one who engineered things so all would take this unavoidable journey/lesson of learning good from evil (which is life from death and true from untrue) - unavoidable, if there's to be thinking ability. And thus, death came about and life as we presently know it [but 2 Peter assures us a new heavens and a new earth wherein righteousness/rightness/"approved by God" will dwell.]

And therefor death came about - because God is life and also perfection - I have my order mixed up, this was one of the first insights (bams :laughing7: ).

So to choose anything in thought, word, or deed which differs from what He chooses, is to become imperfect, the opposite of Life/God/Perfection. (Remember, what He is creating is the best - as an attribute of perfect, surely? is to be able to bring about the best!)

Because He IS life, He suffers, lives through, and experiences (surely?) aLL sufferings which ever occur! Why would He put Himself through all that? Perhaps because He's not creating an ant farm, but an un-breakable paradise/perfection. For all will fully understand good from evil (life from death, nonlife) and it will be deeply engraved upon every heart, mind, and psyche that one cannot wander away from Him (Life) and remain living.. it cannot be done. (Simple really. lol) That's what (imo) Revelation 22 means.. nothing impure can ever enter the city of God.. the new creation.. It will be a reality totally "approved by God"/righteous.

Bottom line of what I learned.. Perfect makes no mistakes. Perfect cannot lose anything. And nothing but the best of all possible 'end' results is possible. - Or in other words - "God is love" and "love never (ever) fails". :gsmile: Logos, root word of the word, logic.

I think we go through times of intense submitting our self to Him, and this, I believe is what results in His voice and guidance.. Lately, I feel as though I have been shown exactly what the lake of fire is, but that would be a different topic.
:Peace2: and God bless..
