could this have been a dream from God?

Recently I dreamt that I would go to an old age home. I was very much looking forward to spending time with old nice people. But, as I went there and was about to head in its direction, I noticed a man besides me. He seemed to be stopped by an invisible barrier, and fell backwards. Somehow I got hold of him and held him and made sure he sank to the floor softly and without getting hurt. The man looked like the actor John Voight who is known for playing the evil guy in thriller movies. In the dream, the man said to me, "You know it, I was only an actor, I am not an evil man deep inside". And I said, yes, I know that, you're a nice guy. Then two other people came up and put John into a wheelchair. We went together to a nice place, and there was a table with a cake on it. John looked happy and seemed anxious to try the cake, wanting to see whether it would be really good. I looked at the cake and it looked unusual but very tasty and fulfilling. I looked some more, and the cake expanded around us, until it was a huge ring in whose middle I was with John and the other people. I wanted to try the cake too, but as I looked at it it fell apart, except for its middle piece which John was eating. Then I woke up.

I've often thought of the calvinist idea that some people are meant to suffer eternally after death. I've also been thinking that all of reality is made by God, even the now. IE, everything that happens, God wanted to happen, without any exception.

The dream gave me some thoughts. What do you think about it?

:cloud9: If I had that dream, I would take it that the Lord wanted me to act as an spiritual (the invisible barrier) intercessor for the salvation of Jon Voight because he didn't have much more time left on the earth.

What he was eating of (the world/earthly things), soon swallowed him = into the center of the earth. You couldn't eat anymore of it, because He has called you out of the world, and you are not going to pass, but he is. My  :2c: Blessings.....
