Title: the "blood moons"..?
Post by: marie glen on May 03, 2015, 04:03:14 AM
Has anyone else been following anything about what they're calling, blood moons?

the four eclipses of the moon in 2014 and 2015 (two in each) upon Israel ancient Holy days? In both 2014 and 2015, lunar eclipses on Passover and Tabernacles.. And also an interesting solar eclipse this year which was on March 20 (2015) on the Hebrew religious New Year..

I liked this clip, it seemed down to earth and very informative - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYAIw4ncqpg (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYAIw4ncqpg) put out by "Israeli Jews Teaching Christians Worldwide"

This one, by the same folks - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gm0laPg6tUo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gm0laPg6tUo) is about the origin of the blood moons topic, which I had no idea of.. that was very interesting too.

And this one, the third and I think last which they offer, was veRy interesting! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbbUJ3zwf5E (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbbUJ3zwf5E)

I think these tie in to the Holy Days God gave and set up being a type and shadow of His great plan...
..top o the evening.. God bless!!

I am aware of the Blood Moon theory and I must say a lot has happened between the first Blood Moon up to now. I believe the anti christ will make himself public sometime between now and the 4th blood moon in september or october

I hope I am wrong about this but unfortunately it seems all the End Times pieces are falling into place. Especially with the Jade Helm 15 operation expected to take place this summer. Also, I read on CNN earlier that Assad's regime is in danger. If he falls, then ISIS will control about 85% of the Middle East.

I agree that things sure have seemed to pick up momentum! I'm thinking it's possible by the Fall (4th) Holy Day eclipse, there may be another wake up call for the West, esp the usa? (being intent upon its falling away from the faith) - Rabbi Cahn, who Sheila posted about, has said 9/11 was in a Hebrew week of years, and the stock market drop of 08 was 7 years later, of the next week of years, and he calls them "harbingers" and has a book out with the same name (Harbinger). Or perhaps it will be some very critical things in the mideast.. Lately I've been researching and studying up of how possibly the Father is communicating/communicates using His Hebrew calendar and the pattern of the Holy Days.. I'm finding it interesting.. And as always, He is so veRy awesome!!! ..and many faceted in His great wisdom we can barely appreciate..

..the jade helm stuff is creepy and suspect, I know it's going that way, to me it's just a question of when.. i felt for a long time like our prayers and votes could and were stalling things, but i think there's been major crossroads where the trends "of the air" held sway.. I have a faint glimmer of hope after listening some to Rabbi Cahn, of thinking (another) wake up call could cause repentance and stop (aka, stall) this national turning away from God.. but it sure seems like the turning away is pretty ripe.. A question I have is i wonder when the "quickness" Jesus talked about kicks in..?

People have been trying to predict the end for a long time, and there really is no reason to be obsessed about it if you're ready. In other words, realize that God is conciliated with you through the death of his son, Jesus Christ. So be conciliated with God.

"Now, concerning that day and hour no one is aware, neither the messengers of the heavens, nor the Son; except the Father only." (Matthew 24:36)

"Therefore you also become ready, for in an hour which you are not supposing, the Son of Mankind is coming." (Matthew 24:44)

"For if, being enemies, we were conciliated to God through the death of His Son, much rather, being conciliated, we shall be saved in His life." (Romans 5:10)

"So that, if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: the primitive passed by. Lo! there has come new! Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation, how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation. For Christ, then, are we ambassadors, as of God entreating through us. We are beseeching for Christ's sake, "Be conciliated to God!"" (2 Corinthians 5:17-20)

 Amen Tom,

I watched a program on tv where some preacher was talking about the blood moons and he said those who were there and those who were watching would be blessed tremendously, meaning finincially. He said "everyone get a pencil and paper and then began telling everyone how to get that blessing. It was by pledging him $70.00 a month for a few months.

I just hate it when people use God and his word for gain. Don't these people have any fear of God left in them?

QuoteA question I have is i wonder when the "quickness" Jesus talked about kicks in..?

Hi Marie    , dear sista  M    :HeartThrob:

I dont see that big of a difference in the times the   apostles walked the earth   and  know or'' knew the truth  ''    but those chosen few  and they went out into the

world  spreading the gospel and the good news of Jesus Christ   to all whom would listen    to them and faith comes by hearing   what the HOLY SPIRIT   is saying
that being the FATHER &SON , if you seen the son you seen the Father     and those whom are in  HIM  this to me is the 3 fold cord that is not easily broken

SEEN ME SEEN FATHER  SEEN the FATHER   JOHN 14

The least you have done unto   these my brethren  you have done unto Me

They go out because they are sent ,    just as Jesus was sent    by the Father    , remember,  Jesus saying when ''I return ''  Will I  find faith in the earth   ?

I believe has to do with more of our  mortal bodies being    flesh having  the Spirit poured out on them ,  as the dust of the earth but the Spirit is within them         and not so much as the literal    world as a whole .

THE GREATER WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT   IS  TO BELIEVE in the one whom he sent   and if Jesus  sends you out  to  witness   matt 24
JOHN 6 ...28Therefore they said to Him, "What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?" 29Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent." 30So they said to Him, "What then do You do for a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work do You perform?...

Witnessing to All Nations
...13"But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. 14"This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

I  JUST  know the WORD OF GOD    is the witness and the HOLY SPIRIT  WITNESS  of truth    are what judges all  mankind in the   end and last day

word spoken judges John 12
...47"If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

48"He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.

49"For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.

For me it is how you handled the word of Life       !

1John 1 The Word of Life
1What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands,

concerning the Word of Life-- 2and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us-

I know so many now are so confused and uncertain as to what to believe   in and the  noise of the world is causing  much    unrest

So many are wanting to   have faith  and hope and love  , but  do not understand it is only GODS WORD AND SPIRIT  THAT can give   this to us ,all of us
there is not one  we know  whom does not need Gods love , mercy and grace in their lives     right now nor ever been     and they are missing out  on the glory of God   in the earth   realm of death    as it is   in heaven   realm of life  :HeartThrob:

Yes and all will stand before  the judgment seat   of  Christ   to give account  of their works and will be ashamed  of their doings

all before me were robbers and thieves , I see this as  always     was and is and will be     , not before Christ come   on earth as a man  , but  CHRIST IS THE WORD  OF GOD  & SPIRIT OF TRUTH     eternally    ...

7So Jesus said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8"All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9"I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture....
s
Jeremiah 23:1
"Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!" declares the LORD.

Ezekiel 34:2
"Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock?

John 10:1
"Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.

and the example of the two thieves on the cross with Jesus Christ all being crucified         one enters   paradise of God and the other is never mentioned again

as Christ is in the middle   of the two  , I can only see this as the old man of sin being no more and the new man   given life  when confessing Jesus Christ as innocent     and him  guilty of   his wages   being death

Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess      Jesus Christ in the end  It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'"

For one believe that  every generation has its burden to bear and  glory to be revealed

THE WORD OF GOD THOUGHT the  SPIRIT OF TRUTH speaks to every generation ...

mATT 24...33so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. 34"Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

There is something to be said for , like Tom said on another thread,''To always be ready !!!

Hebrews 9 ...27And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,

28so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many,

will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him. :dsunny:

past  from  death to LIFE  :HeartThrob:

13Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you.    So those still  in the world are abiding in  death and hatred and  sin and  every evil under the sun  :sigh:

14We know that we have passed out of death into life,

because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.

15Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

I think the blood moons are significent also, didn't mean to imply they were'nt. It's just there are those who use these things for gain and I don't think they should. I think anything that happens in the skys are important and should be examined to teach us things about God and his coming.

As the end of the age approaches time seems to go faster and faster. As it is written in Daniel, "many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall increase."

Remember in Job God asks Satn where he has been and he replies, "Running to and fro over the face of the earth"

Our deliverance is not in running, but in sitting, "Seated with Christ in the heavenly realms", it is in walking, "Walk in the Spirit", it is in dwelling, "He that dwells in the secret place of The Most High shall abide under the shadow of The Almighty".

Absolutely.  I would have to say that since we are seated in Christ in the heavenlies we have no need to worry what may or may not happen. Nothing can separate us from the love of God anyway. We have nothing to fear.

then the righteous will answer Him,'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you,or thirsty and give you something to drink?"

just because 'we're' sitting in heavenly places..doesn't mean everyone else is. Yet,once again I will shake heaven and earth....

Jesus spoke to the people that failed to honour mother and father[least of these] and called it 'corban'  in other words.....

my fellow mankind/believers..needn't expect any material benefit from me.....it is corban[I sit in heavenly places]

We certainly need to be ready to aid others in dire trouble at every moment. However, it helps to put things into perspective. The world has always been a pretty rough place to live, Re. famines...

History shows that famines and pestilence and wars (and the most hideous ways to kill people) were the norm...

http://www.mitosyfraudes.org/Polit/Famines.html

Extract:

Analysis
Scarcity of food and resources was a natural state of society, and if some minimal event ruptured the delicate balance between factors affecting the success of crops, the result was inevitable: famine and death by starvation.

Because man lacked the technological advances of today, he could not produce in big excess for storing the produce for later use. They could barely save some food and grain for the next winter, and that was all he could do. And worse yet, most of the times farmers were ransacked by their masters, their kings, or simply by bands of bandits that found easier to assault and steal than to till the soil and work from dawn to the setting sun for a meagre crop.

What becomes increasingly clear is that scarcity, dearth and famines occur nowadays only in some localized regions in Africa as Ethiopia or Chad, as a consequence of civil wars as it was in Rwanda-Burundi, or in traditionally arid regions in Australia, northeast Brazil, and some small areas in India. These regions also show a lack of investment in infrastructure for irrigation and development. Had all these regions received the investment and the will for transforming the region in fertile lands as they did in Israel, famines  would have disappeared long ago from the face of earth.

YEAR      COUNTRY    DEATHS
79-88 AD   Rome   100,000 (in 1 day)
168   Rome   5,000 daily
967-972 DC   Fustat, Egypt   500,000
1025-1027 AD   Cairo, Egypt   unknown
1097   Palestine   100,000
1218   Damietta, Egypt   70,000
1235   London   20,000
1257-1259   London   50,000
1333-1337   Kian, China   4,000,000
1437-1439   France   ---
1600   Russia   500,000
1769-1790   Bengal, India   10,000,000
1810-1811   China   see below
1846-1849   China   45,000,000
1876-1890   India   5,200,000
1845-1847   Irlanda   300,000
1906-1910   China   10,000,000

One of the earliest famines in Russia of which there is any definite record was that of 1600, which continued for three years, with a death toll of 500,000 peasants....
"Cats, dogs, and rats were eaten; the strong overcame the weak, and in the sham-bles of the public markets human flesh was sold. Multitudes of the dead were found with their mouths stuffed with straw."..."Three Russian famines of comparative recent date were among the most severe in the history of the country. They occurred in 1891, 1906, and 1911. In 1906 the government gave 40 pounds of flour a month to all persons under 18 and over 59 years of age. The suffering was intense and the mortality exceedingly heavy, but the available statistics are not wholly reliable. The famine of 1911 extended over one-third of the empire in Europe and affected more than more or less directly 30,000,000 people, while 8,000,000 were reduced to starvation. Weeds, the bark of trees, and bitter bread made from acorns constituted the chief diet for the destitute."

Extract:

"The vision was that of Norman Borlaug, who later received the Noble Peace Prize for his work in high-yield varieties of crops. Characteristic of these crops developed by Borlaug in his laboratories in Mexico is that they germinate earlier in the year, grow faster, and are more resistant to disease and drought. They often have shorter stems than the old varieties so that most of the plants' sustenance ends up in the grains.

The fact that the plants germinate earlier and grow more quickly means that in many parts of the world it is possible to harvest two or three crops a year. Rice not longer takes 150 days to mature and many varieties can do it in 90 days. At the same time, it is possible to cultivate crops in large areas where climate conditions are less favourable. For example, modern varieties of corn can be grown in a 800 km wider belt around the world, what as been a boon to countries as Canada, Russia, Chile, Argentina and China.

Wheat has become resistant to most diseases, such as mildew and rust, which means a lot in developing countries. The new varieties of wheat now account for almost 90% of production in developing countries. Since 1960, the new varieties have led to 30% plus increase in maximum yields and are responsible fro 20-50% of the total increased productivity.

Animals Too

In fact, it is not only varieties of grain that have been improved. Chickens and pigs produce more than twice as much meat as they did 60 years ago and cows produce twice the amount of milk. With genetic enhancement and modern fish farming, the Norwegian salmon has since the early 1970s also become twice as productive.

Irrigation and water control has become more widespread; the proportion of irrigated fields having almost doubled from 10.5% in 1961 to over 18% in 1997. Irrigation renders the soil far more fertile – it has enabled the Egyptians to get almost twice the wheat yield of the average developing country. Irrigation also makes possible to harvest two or three times a year. This is why irrigated land contributes as much as 40% of the Earth food – even though it accounts for only 18% of the total agricultural land mass.

Finally, the increased use of fertilizers and pesticides has made it possible to improve plant growth and not lose such a large proportion of crops to disease and insects. Almost a third of Asian rice harvest was eaten by in-sects in 1960! A last and important help to the battle for feeding the world was the development of GMO, Genetically Modified Organisms, or simply GM plants. They offer greater resistance to disease, and plagues, thereby reducing pesticide consumption, while at the same time having improved uptake of nutrients thus reducing the overapplication of fertilizers.

Conclusion

"The battle to feed mankind is over " ... "The food problem in the developing world represents a 'nearly insoluble problem'.", as Paul Ehrlich and Lester Brown have been yelling from their Watchtower of Doom since the 60s and 70s. Ehrlich runs down what he calls the "professional optimists". According to Ehrlich, "They say, for instance that agricultural output to feed some 120 million more people than they cannot feed after all feed today. To put such fantasy into perspective we need to consider only that ..." and Ehrlich presented a whole list of reasons why this could not be achieved. And sure enough, the figure of 120 million turned out to be wrong. Eight years later India produced enough food for 144 million more people, according to FAO's data in its agricultural production index. And since the population had grown by "only" 104 million, this meant there was more food to go around and feed another 20 million.

Lester Brown is a remarkable Prophet of Doom, and as all prophets has failed miserably in every one of his prophecies. In 1965 he wrote that "the food problem emerging in the less-developing regions may be one of the most nearly insoluble problems facing man over the next few decades." Both Ehrlich and Brown have been proved mistaken beyond any doubt. Although there are in the world twice as much people than in 1961, every one of us has more to eat, in both developed and developing countries. As Lomborg states: "Fewer people are starving, Food is cheaper these days and food-wise the world is quite simply a better place for more people."

I found this in a forum and while I do not know who it is, the content is food for thought...

"Hundreds of years ago, we didn't have technology to record disasters and although we might be seeing a lot of natural disasters in the news nowadays, that is only because there is so much more people now. When we only had about a billion people, not only did we not have the means to show other people the bad things that are happening to us, there was also less of us to be affected by disasters. I mean how are our cave men ancestors supposed to record the frequency and destruction caused by natural disasters? And was he supposed to care if an uninhibited part of the forest was struck by a flood? In terms of the human condition, there was as much corruption in our religious and government establishments back then. There were plagues, floods, mass epidemics, earthquakes and mass genocides. For example, the Bubonic Plaque, also known as the black death that killed millions, the extinction of our cousins the Neanderthals due our emergence, the homo sapiens and the unreasonable burnings/massacre of millions of people because of religious discrimination or men's underlying fear of women (aka witch trials) and even just to gain land. Plenty of disasters happened to ancient civilizations, they just didn't want to depict negative events in their paintings, but rather the good that their rulers have achieved. Animals have also been going extinct for millennia; we as a selfish rapidly growing race have just speed things up. Also, about the whole divorce rates shooting up... thousands of years ago nobody got married... therefore no divorces. But it does not mean they just had one partner. We now base how bad things have gotten on Christian ideals. Don't get me wrong, I am Christian and I believe in being faithful for life but the majority of people nowadays aren't born into practicing Christian families. I, myself will live by my ideals and teach them to my children but if other people want to live purely just fulfilling their desires, then good for them. In regards to the Middle East being in chaos... when has it not ever been in chaos? About incest and pedophilia... both were considered normal by some ancient civilizations. For example, royalty keeps to its own blood even nowadays and it was acceptable for ancient Greek boys to have relations with their much older male mentors. This was called "paiderastia" and it was common. Even homosexuality was the norm as people didn't really have "sexual orientations". The economy had always had its bad times. It's just now, we are aware of how much it affects those in the bottom rung. And I guess... people didn't care about the fates of others. Which actually means we as a race have improved. We care about others now; we donate, volunteer and show kindness towards others. Of course there are bad eggs but the only reason why we know of the bad eggs more is because we remember bad acts more than we do good ones. "

lack of investment in infrastructure for irrigation and development. Had all these regions received the investment and the will for transforming the region in fertile lands as they did in Israel, famines  would have disappeared long ago from the face of earth.

I know! ..and isn't it just so sad!! I sometimes wish I were a billionaire... secretly a billionaire (eek! riches)

All the things you listed, I hope my grand kids never have to live through such times.. I've loong felt what i think of as a revelation call.. the crash is the unveiling.. and so have always prayed against it.. i think there are forces ever trying to topple the world into destruction.. war.. and all those things you mentioned.. i believe when we are faced with the totality of human history, we will be shattered, each one of us.. "Slain in the Spirit' (does anyone remember that phrase?:) slain deep within by the purity of His two edged sword and the stark reality of world history and condition..

I agree the main thing is to be resting in Him.. And I hope i can pass that on to my grand kids, and anyone else I cross paths with in some way.. If I could provide for people bunkers and food.. i would.. Perhaps I do 'worry' about it too much..

I know I don't pray enough about  it! But I also believe the Word says if we see the sword coming we should lift up our voices about it.. I don't do that enough either!

..when I was younger I was better able, I think, to see things more positively.. if my grand kids were ever faced with the executioners sword, they would stand in the mighty Spirit of the LORD and not be phased.. (is that a word? phased? sounds weird..)

I have read that in 70 a.d. the christians of Jerusalem knew the signs (landmarks of Mt 24) of the sacking of that day, there was a pause, and the christians left the city.. and got clean away.. I wonder if that's accurate? Their abomination of desolation was the roman standards at the corners/pinnacles of the temple (I think)

Some think that again, only Israel (and the middle east) will be involved and affected by 'last days' events, but I can't help thinking how with ancient Israel the last straw with God was the nation's sacrificing of infants and children.. and doesn't modern man do that now, upon the sacredness of their deciding good and evil..? I find myself thinking we are on borrowed time..

Praise to the LORD He is so patient and merciful! I believe He will/is providing warning signs.. Littler shakings, as opposed to huge, climactic. wouldn't it be great if it served as a wake up call, sincerely, and nations (western civilization) would turn back to God/the faith, and slow down the unveiling..

Actually, I think the moon being red and the sun and moon being darkened, will be fulfilled as a smokey day.. I think of it as Joel's smokey day, even though Joel only mentions "columns of smoke", fire and a day of gloominess..

   Hi Marie

I just   hope that   this makes sense to you ,     When the prophets of old  foretold and prophesied  of the   2nd coming of Jesus Christ

Right after  He had risen      He did appear by many eye witnesses   who wrote them  down in the new testament   , this was    proof that   He is risen  and   returned to   glory    and does sit on the right hand of God   and judgment is set and Paul said in Acts 2  He returns in the same manner he went up in a cloud of Glory   ,  I  believe a cloud is a witness   in the spiritual sense
Just as the moon is the old covenant  law  and The Sun is the new covenant  law and the stars are the messengers  , some call this metaphorical  speech

But it makes sense to me when you  look at this   as    the   moon / moses  and   that physical sign of a literal moon being  red   or  bloody   looking
and the quote to me that  shows   more proof  is what his wife said , you are a bloody husband  because of the circumcision    exodus 4  ;2625

Then Zipporah took a flint and cut off her son's foreskin and threw it at Moses' feet, and she said, "You are indeed a bridegroom of blood to me." 26So He let him alone. At that time she said, "You are a bridegroom of blood "-- because of the circumcision.

And Jesus saying  the Kingdom suffers violence  TILL NOW    Paul  also speaks  of the circumcision  as violent   and  to understand it is    the circumcision of the heart   removing the filth of the flesh     , not  metaphorically killing   and devouring one another

...11"Truly I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than John the Baptist! Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12"From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force. 13"For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John.

Can we see how Jesus    said this as   the men on the earth caused violence in the heavens   as well ?     so heaven and earth  are connected as   being   ONE
not some far off other   planet or place   ,  but very connected   , thus the need for the new heavens and earth      and to me  I can see this as  one own mind and heart      in every   human  being

I just hope   this is considered    ,    the Sun being  darkened   can mean several things   ,    this being the new covenant   and making the   Holy Spirit   grieve &  Lord ashamed  to call them brethren       , the do not  do as   He says    , rebellious  children    or in the darkness  means ignorant of the things concerning God  ,  How many times did the Lord tell the  12  ,  Do you still not understand ?  do you still not get it ?
I think about this often and  beg  Jesus  to    understand   Him  , because I dont  ''get it '' either   sometimes      , but so odd  how He answers    , It is like a flash coming across my  mind and the thoughts   appear     and the comfort  comes    in  that peace   , settling the stir    in my heart of the consusion

It is humbling     ,  I think of the stars   as   anyone of us  , just as the light of Christ was in them prophets of old   in the  darkness   and ignorance of  not knowing  GODS WILL /DESIRE      , Jesus said many prophets  would have loved to see what you see  Matt 13  16"But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. 17"For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

I  believe in the   ladder of Jacob 's dream was a foretelling of Jesus Christ       being that ladder  and the messengers  /angels  rising and falling     that would  be anyone  of us and many in the  scriptures    way back than    being told

Gen 28 ;12He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
John 1  51And He said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see the heavens opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."

and lastly      I wanted to say the Revelation    this book    is the seals   that  unveils   Jesus Christ     , you can read this as   past and present and future   and  all  3  agree with other places in the scriptures    in the old     moon covenant and the New Sun Covenant   and in those stars        being the Light of Christ  shining in our hearts       or the   very words Jesus used,,,,, I saw satan /adversary   fall like lightning
I do believe when Jesus called Peter satan    he was calling him adversarial     to the Will of God   and   we can be   adversarial   to Gods desire   as well  and  we rise and fall        7 times and He is able to make us stand again    or rise and walk  in the Spirit

These are the scriptures   I was hoping you could compare the covenants and messengers   as being   the moon and sun and  stars     with  :HeartThrob:

Matthew  24 ;The Return of the Son of Man
...28"Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. 29"But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30"And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory....

Ecclesiastes 12:2
before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain;

Isaiah 13:10
The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.

Isaiah 24:23
The moon will be dismayed, the sun ashamed; for the LORD Almighty will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before its elders--with great glory.

Isaiah 34:4
All the stars in the sky will be dissolved and the heavens rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.

Ezekiel 32:7
When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give its light.

Joel 2:10
Before them the earth shakes, the heavens tremble, the sun and moon are darkened, and the stars no longer shine.

Joel 2:30
I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke.

Joel 2:31
The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

Joel 3:15
The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine.

Amos 5:20
Will not the day of the LORD be darkness, not light-- pitch-dark, without a ray of brightness?

Amos 8:9
"In that day," declares the Sovereign LORD, "I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight.

Zephaniah 1:15
That day will be a day of wrath-- a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness--

Matthew 24:21
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again.

Acts 2:20
The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

Revelation 6:12
I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red,

Revelation 6:13
and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.

Revelation 8:12
The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

I just hope   this is considered    ,    the Sun being  darkened   can mean several things

...absolutely! so far we are in agreement.. I believe bible prophecy has many levels.. all `true`.. from a literal darkened sun one day.. coinciding with, and symbolic of the darkened sun condition within man, man's ages, and the world.. I believe the Father is creating heaven and earth (the kingdom of, heaven; as you say all one) and it is a very solid thing.. not ethereal alone, but still, also, very ethereal.. And although I think the earth and elements will be likely of a bit of a finer substance (?) I also think it will still be earth.. with its dirt and trees, animals, birds.. fish.. and a human family, God's own.. one race, but with many beautiful branches (ethnicities) and it will all be watered by the crystal waters of life, both spiritual(the most important) and physical, sparkling, clear (fresh, living) water. And the whole creation most glorious and beautiful.. I even think life will spread all throughout the universe over the ages.. In far `distant` ages, perhaps He will fold this universe and do something else.. But as far as the family (name Israel) goes, that is eternal.. As long as one is "in Jesus". And Jesus in them, they possess everlasting life..  sorry to ramble on so! :faint:  (truth is so inspiring!)

I never put it together before about the "kingdom taken by force"/violence.. thanks! that makes a lot of sense!

:iagree: I agree.. to me, it's the same story, over and over and throughout all.. the story (lesson/truth) of each person's life and heart, and the story of man's world, of every nation, and of world history.. all the same story (all the same illustration & lesson).. that there's life in Jesus.. and outside of Jesus is not life, but built on sand and cannot possibly endure.. And this is true at all levels of life and being.. "this is the decree" the Father says (Ps 2) "You are my begotten (straight outfrom God) Son" the only.. :2c:

Thank you, Rose for that list! I have copy pasted it for my notes and study, thanks!

Like you, I love how the Lord communicates.. when I have a question about things, i know that if i will quiet myself enough, i will be able to hear His 'voice' about it.. not audible.. but there nonetheless.. and truth I find, resounds.. somewhat like a ringing bell.. it rings true. And I cannot 'rest' concerning it, or feel i understand until i feel that click/fittingness, snugness in my 'soul'(psyche,mind/heart).. once that happens, even though it can expand and ripple with new levels and understanding, it becomes a pretty solid belief and conviction.. I believe we will find truth to be very faceted, like a gem.. with truth(s) true at all levels of all things.. as multi faceted brilliance and radiance..

..after Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, is when I believe the Book of Revelation (for earth) began, even tho apocalypse (as unveiling collapse) began in eden.. the triumphant rider on a white horse, I believe is the victorious gospel which openly subdued 'the gods'/ principalities and powers, making an open show of them.. First seal..

when mankind (western civilization where the gospel found resting place(rev12:6,14) began to turn away from the faith, he/man split the atom.. 6th seal (the seals being described as a blend of what they are at their beginning and at their full growth and progression/gallop, so that the final growth and results of splitting the atom, on the very last day, is told so early on, here in the 6th chapter)

that the results will be great earthquake.. "the earth will rock to and fro" - true on an inner and individual level, absolutely, and in the collective human psyche(even tho that sounds a bit new agey).. but I believe, also true on the outward, literal, global level.. A forever lesson etched in stone.. the stone of our hearts and the stone of reality through and through all things and all levels of all things..

I don't personally believe the stars will fall from the physical heavens.. but i do believe during that final great shaking that it will appear that way from Earth.. a great shaking of the human psyche/soul and heart, but also of the world/empire that man builds.. (w/o God, it can only crash, there's no other, imo, possibility; unless all the world turns to God (YHVH), then it wouldn't have to be played out in the physical/outer..)

there was a time in my life when I felt like the Lord picked me up in the palm of His hand - so to speak -  and (gently) threw me to the earth.. so i was sitting on the earth/ground, with nothing between the earth/ground and I (no manmade chair).. and that was where He wanted me to be. Practical, straight forward, simple, down to earth. Not to say there isn't those heights of prayer and praise and thanksgiving.. seated with Him in heavenly places.. (and more so as the day approaches?)

Thanks Rose! :gsmile: :goodpost:

Solar eclipses are fairly routine.  If there were a signfigant solar eclipse integrated with the blood moons and the co-ordinating feasts I would give te theory more creedence......but

John Hagee gives prophecies according to his publishing schedule

Four Blood Moons has sold over 400,000 copies and the movie did well also.

In 2012 he prophesied that the world would end in 2012

In 2006, in a book called Jerusalem Countdown(sold 800,000 copies) he prophesied that the US would invade Iran

In 1999, in a book called Daniel to Destruction he prophesied that the Y2k bug would destroy the world's computers.

He has a new book coming out, I prophesy that sales will be brisk ;o)

I just seen this  with dear friends of ours  whom are  dealing with  a cancer  crisis     and now want to start   going  to church  .

I see  nothing wrong in this at all   , and it is a good thing     , even Paul says  we have many tutors till we come to Christ .

and this one   that    many  can  relate to   here  ,including  myself .

Gal 3 The Purpose of the Law

...23But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed.

24 Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.

25But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

I believe the Holy Spirit  working and still  being  poured out on all the flesh  that God chooses to do so

We all come though Holy Spirit and Fire     witness   and loosing your life or loved ones /loss ,   but in Christ it is found    :HeartThrob:

..to me it is simply one of many ways of the Father saying.. knock, knock, hello..! ..I'm here.. And certainly not surprising to see in this world of dissolution and deterioration.. indeed even the unfolding of a flower is full of illustration from Him..

I suppose there are many books about many things written by many.. yeek.. the words of man/people and thought processes.. very fatiguing.. whereas the Word gives life.. but old wine is preferred before new, hence the multitude of human thought and theory.. I've often thought believers making a living off the gospel, may be forfeiting better `reward` later.. I don't know how ppl have so much time to read so many books written by people! Or why they would bother? I'm not saying i've never read a book about the bible, or about what the bible says, what someone else says it says.. but really? why bother? For the most part that is..! :gsmile:

there are 'as*ses and oxes in the gospel..........the as*ses must have their necks broke unless redeemed by a Lamb.....

Isaachar is like a rawboned ass..crouching between two burdens[law and or/grace]  serving for tribute[paid for profit gospel]

but the Lord has use of them/indeed He rode into Jerusalem on the colt of an ass.. God spoke through Balaams ass once.

now the ox treads out the grain..and should not be muzzled. and the prophets of Balaam should listen to their  as*

ps not trying to be disrespectful with language.

   as*es and oxes unclean/clean ministers .

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet but there is a new movie on Netflix called 'Four Blood Moons', I just watched it, it tells the history of the previous blood moon tetrads in regards to being synchronistic with major events in Israel/Judaism. They had some really interesting stories in there of Gods hand being over Israel in miraculous ways that I hadn't heard before. Apart from the songs being a bit cheesy I think they did a really good job of it. I'd recommend it to all of you!

:cloud9: I don't think there's any question that God has set up the heavens for HIS purposes and for signs. There's one date that seems to be especially telling of this fact, so how much more so would one mentioned in the NT (moon turning to blood) be?  :Chinscratch: It also appears to me to be obvious that God's concern with the Jews extends beyond 70AD. My  :2c: Blessings...

The 9th of Av in Scripture and History

In order to simplify my Answering Objections page, I have divided it into several major subtopics for ease of reading.  Below are my answers to questions regarding the issue of "Does the 9th of Av play a pivotal role in divine intervention?"

QUESTION:  Does the 9th of Av really play a major role in history and Scripture, such that the Almighty tends to especially intervene in human affairs on that special date?

ANSWER:  The 9th of Av is clearly a significant date in the history of both man and the ancient Jewish people.  Essentially, what this amounts to is the fact that there is extensive evidence of prophetic signs even within the Hebrew Calendar. In Grant Jeffrey's book,  Armageddon--Appointment with Destiny, he gives eight examples of disastrous events taking place on a certain date of the Jewish calendar—the 9th of Av. This in itself constitutes an amazing sign (even without heavenly signs to accompany it):

1. Ten of the 12 spies returned with a bad report on the 9th of Av. (c. 1435 BCE).
2. Solomon's temple was destroyed by the Babylonians on the 9th of Av (c. 587 BCE).
3. The second temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE on the 9th of Av.
4. In 71 CE the Roman army plowed the city of Jerusalem with salt on the 9th of Av.
5. Bar Kochba was killed and his army destroyed on the 9th of Av, in the year 135 CE.
6. In 1290 CE, England expelled all Jews from the country on the 9th of Av.
7. In 1492, Spain expelled all Jews from their country on the 9th of Av.
8. In 1914, on the 9th of Av., World War I was declared. In Eastern Russia, the Russian government began a campaign of severe persecution against the Jews at that time.

In addition to this, at a time well after researching and establishing the Jubilee Calendar and the dates that are associated with it, I discovered (to my amazement) that there was one more sign that was in alignment with the 9th of Av.  It appears that the comet Shoemaker-Levy crashed into Jupiter between July 16 and July 24 of 1994.  According to the current Jewish calendar, the 9th of Av for that year came on July 16.

However, this is not where the similarity ends.  This is only the beginning.  Please notice the number of "coincidences" which are associated with this last event as well as the date associated with it:

1. It came on a day of the Jewish calendar known for terrible events—the 9th of Av. The 9th of Av is most often associated with the judgments of Yahweh.
2. It came only about 50 days prior to the start of the next civil year (Tishri 1). That next year, according to the evidence presented in the Jubilee Calendar, is a year of Jubilee.
3. During that event (on July 18, 1994) a major bombing took place in Buenos Aires at the Jewish Community Center, killing 85 people. The next day a suicide bombing of a Panamanian commuter plane killed 12 Jews and 9 others. Seven days later a car bomb exploded in front of the Israeli Embassy in London.
4. Shoemaker-Levy began striking Jupiter exactly 49 years to the very day after the first testing of the atomic bomb on July 16, 1945, at the Trinity test site near Alamogordo, New Mexico. About two weeks later, the bomb was used in Japan, and the nuclear era had begun. Like 1994, 1945 is a 49th year in the Jubilee Calendar.
5. Based upon the various evidences presented both here in the Jubilee Code, and in the Jubilee Calendar itself, the year 1994 is very likely to be the year 5978 from Creation. When you add 21 years (each year represented by one of the strikes of Shoemaker-Levy) it takes you to the year 5999 on the calendar. Clearly, the 21 strikes of this comet were intended to convey the message that we have 21 years to repent and turn our hearts back to Yahweh prior to the year 6000.

remember the girl with the spirit of divination that followed Paul around declaring.[acts 16;17...'these men are servants of the

Most High and they are telling you the way to be saved"  a slave girl who had a spirit by which she foretold the future.  she earned

her owners a great deal of money through her fortune-telling.]

:cloud9: I guess I'm missing your point. I'm not saying we should listen to anything any of them say as hard fact, but be mindful of the fact that God does have signs set in the heavens for seasons of His own. Blessings...

my point is that sometimes spirits of divination/occult will speak truth to promote their own agenda.  Ex the Magi....aware of the star

......come to honour him... and satan  used the imfo to attempt to kill Jesus while a small child.

yes, that's part of it..but the d spirit has it's own agenda,too......and the spirit doesn't need money..except to tempt the man to break

  God's commandment for it.
