The 2 witness send by God.

Hello all :boyheart:


Anyway, I read so many time and I know the famous story of "the two witness", "The two olive tree" send by God to testify and witness to Jesus the lord

It take place in the future (it didn't happen yet) and I noticed something REALLY STRANGE!!!!

You know that there are alot christian people in the world but the problem was I read about the "whole world" want to kill them! THEY WAS PREACHING ABOUT JESUS!!! Why would the whole world want to kill them?

Was it because they have power to shut down rain for 1,270 days until they finish?
Was it because they was walking in the muslim's land?


or this is what I believe the spirit may have told me this:

They was preaching that Jesus will save "all" and there are no hell and the whole world is angry at them because of the "truth" they never heard of, they was so used to bible what it said of everlasting fire, lake of fire, and the two witness told them about God is the fire itself to cleanes your soul with fire, the more sins you have, the more grace it abound!

But the satan told the whole world they are "the devil" and finally kill them, and set up a holiday "False prophet have been slain!" and giving present like christmas! God rasie them up after their's own body to get up and that citie where the bodies is, got a bad earthquake.

What do you think?

The weird part is why would the whole world want to kill them.
Large part of the West are atheist. The other part of the world is maninly atheist or some other religion.
Take for example muslims. They have one thing in common with atheists. They view the Bible as nonsense.
Why would they even take those witnesses seriously? To them they are nothing more or less than a jehova witness knocking on your door.

Can you show some verses that say that. Not that I don't believe you; I just don't know them.
But again such words would only anger part of the world.
Atheists either don't believe it or say "so if there is something in the afterlife I'm going to heaven anyway. So I just stick to being atheist"

For the 2 witnesses to be hated so greatly I would expect the whole world is following some (false) religion.
Bible talk just doesn't stick on atheists...

well the point is: Remember Stephen was stoned by the jews because he speak the truth?
Or Paul and Peter and others walking around speaking the truth and they get killed or beaten for it.

It will be the same thing happen to the 2 witness because the world hate Jesus, there something very strange and God do not lie about the future.

Remeber the babylon, the mother of whore (I assume the "mother" mean the church) and God told them to come of her , my people? What if the two witness was doing that as well?

Back in the time of Jesus the majority of people was religious (I think)
The message/person of Jesus didn't fit in any major belief at that time. Either that of the Jews or that of the followers of many pagan gods. But today many are atheists. Many of the religious people are very mild in their views or are not practicing their religion. So are close to being atheists too.

You are basing the entire theory on the "idea" that one, it's still to happen in the future and two, that it's speaking of physical people.  But what if what we've been taught to believe is inaccurate in the first place?

Walking in the spirit is an extremely mysterious journey when one forgets their own identity in the process of the walk.  When people choose to do studies on this book of Revelation . . .I would recommend to make a book marker . .and on it, write in big bold letters the name of the book you are in . . .especially the way John wrote it . . .THIS IS A REVELAION OF JESUS CHRIST . . . it's one vision of one Redeemer.  The reason why this is important is because there are so many opportunities in this book for my mind to imagine roads that lead to other things . . . when they really don't.  All roads in this book lead to Christ. 

It's not about literal olive trees . . .they are symbolic.  There is only one Father, one Son and one Spirit . . .these three combined are God.  The throne of God is the source of life in every dimension.  The two anointed ones that stand forever before the throne . . .which means they are a part of the throne . . .they bring glory to each other in illuminating the throne . . .they are the Son and Spirit . . .two of the three components that make up the throne.  Calling it a throne is just God's way of telling us it's the core of all authority and power.

the numbers match the ministry.  3 1/2 days they prophesied . . .Jesus ministry was 3 1/2 years . .half way through the week . . .the sacrifice was cut off . . . Jesus ministry began in the baptism of the river of death (Jordan) it was the beginning of the 70th week Daniel refers to.  Half way through the week, Jesus was crucified . . . check the book marker again . . .this is a revelation of . . .JESUS CHRIST . . . It was revealed to John what was going on behind the veil so to speak . .he saw what transpired in the spirit while Jesus manifested in the flesh . . .and then . . .the back half of the week things were going on also . . .something happened with Jesus during this time I want to throw out to you  . . .

Mark 16:19
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Very important to note his position . . .he was "sitting".  But in Acts . .something happens . . .

Acts 7
56And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

These were the last words spoken of a doomed man . . .Stephen . . .

Jesus went from sitting to standing.  Stephen was the first martyr . .why do you suppose that Scripture would go to such lengths to explain that unless, perhaps it was because it marked something.  Jesus was sitting, but then he stood up . . .then in Ephesians, as well as other places in the epistles  . . . it states he's seated again . . .why did Jesus have to get up?  Why couldn't Stephen just have seen Jesus in a seated position?

I believe it has everything to do with the fulfillment of Daniels prophecy that the time of the Jews had come to an end with the stoning of Stephen.  You'll note that right after that, the story in Acts turns to the life of Paul . . .who was called to preach to who?  The Gentiles . .not the Jews.

The things you see written in Scripture are their for the purpose of Scripture interpreting and explaining itself.  If it's left up to us . . .we can have conversations go on and on for aion arguing over the word aion.  But it's not left up to us . . .the interpretation of truth lies within the book that truth is written in. 

So . . .the two witnesses for me, is Christ, and the Holy Spirit that drove him.

Yes amen indeed.

The 2 witnesses could be a shadow of some future event, but could they symbolize something that must happen in our own life right now?

Always remember Revelations is a book of symbols.  I'm not too sure on all the symbols used in Rev 11, but look at this one verse:

Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.


They sound pretty deadly don't you think?  :winkgrin:  What is the fire that shoots from their mouth?

Jer 5:14 Therefore this is what the LORD God Almighty says:
       "Because the people have spoken these words,
       I will make my words in your mouth a fire
       and these people the wood it consumes.

The fire that comes out of the two witnesses' mouths is most likely the word of God - preaching the truth.  Oh how it burns those who don't want to believe.  Where else have we heard about two witnesses?

2 Cor 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

Matthew 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

This is talking about scripture.  No one verse can be its own interpretation (2 Pe 1:20).  But if you have 2 or 3 verses that say the same thing, then you know you have found a spiritual truth.

Just the way that Jesus handled the sword through his words and silenced the attacks against him . . .the word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword . . .a passage that is embedded in the "rest" chapter of Hebrews (4).  it divides soul from spirit   . . . it kills the flesh, giving life to the spirit.

But will these things happen physically in our generation?  I seriously am convinced they will not.  The book was left open because the events that were to really happen literally, had already begun way back then.  They've already physically happened.  Walking in the spirit does not focus on things happening naturally .  . . but things happening internally. . .imo anyway.

 :cloud9: Yes it does kill the flesh and give life to the spirit. And another one of the amazing things about that is, that the Spirit of God can even take what is sometimes used in a wrong motive (ie. to kill only) and STILL quicken it and bring life and not death to the hearer, if so be it there is no flesh governed by that scripture, that still needs killing.  Blessings....

Looking at my own life I have always seemed to have 2 major witnesses that 'told' me God is real. There are many more but the two most important seem to be my mind and my heart. The thinking process and feeling (emotional realm) just can't deny God, not really. Of course I tried to deny Him through just those 2 witnesses and succeeded in certain ways. I put down those 2 witnesses as much and as often as possible. I killed them many times over. In my world these 2 witnesses were enemies.

This is not a future message from God to me. It is a very current and timely message and as I heed it as such I gain strength from it and praise God. To look at it any other way is to make a thing of history or a thing of the future which does me no good NOW
