Lukewarm?

I was reading a discussion (elsewhere) about the "lukewarm" in the letter to the Laodicean's(?) and a post saying in context meant foods are good cold or hot - hot foods to be hot and cold, cold. This made me think, of Jesus saying better to be cold - never called - than to be lukewarm after having once known the Lord's fire/been on fire for Him..

As a reference to two classes, the called and the never called.. Or that is the not yet called..

Well, that's the way it struck me anyway.. As opposed to the ED view of humans choose God (through Jesus) or they don't rather than how God does the choosing..

  I loved what you shared and  it made  me remember something  or the better word ''sparked ''    a coal ..lol :flamebreath:

   I always take the scriptures to heart , especially what Jesus says  ,  God sent His SON  , HEAR HIM ... 
Because   what  He says   , His Words are LIFE ..    and also they are the Very ''Spirit of prophecy  ''

Paul said we are running a race , the  7   churches  in Revealing    the   Lord Jesus Christ , are     where Jesus rebukes and  rewards   

  This is very important ..   the last two    are the condition of    His testimony ''Witness '' 

  Love in the Philadelphia church   is what we are the ''remain in ''  when He comes   the 2nd time around ..

   Love fervently     Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.        Stay hot and on fire for God in His love

  He has  nothing but   good in the Philadelphia's  brotherly love Church   as rewards  are with Him  [poured out His own Spirit on all flesh ]

   The last  day church has  grown    cooled   and  lukewarm     and it a state of    being spued out   of His body of believers, I believe when Christ come the first time  this was the condition of the    true Church   

   This is because  lawlessness abounds the love of many  wane cooled , hearts become dormant   /complacent   to smug and satisfied     to me .

For me  , this is the  dividing     SWORD / Word of God     to me ,    the sheep from the goats and the     wheat from the tares and the    children of the Day[Body of Christ]   from the children of Babylon [Body of the  great whore of the earth]

  For me ,   this is  as dead or alive    in CHRIST , and the urgency of the last hour when  many antichrist   spirits come in his name etc.....

Just  some thoughts on this meal of   the Lords supper and  the   table set before us    as we fellowship with one another    etc ..  body of Christ eat my Body and drink my blood that you may have LIFE in you ...   
I believe it is very spiritual in nature    and holds  a lot of weight .

The threat to them in part was that He'd remove their candlestick (menorah). It wasn't just spiritual, it was literal. The pattern of worship changed 150Ad thereabouts, and He will not give His glory unto another image. My  :2c: Blessings....

  And   wont He finish what He started ?  sending the Light to the nations   ?

This would most certainly explain why Paul spoke of wrangling with the  beasts of Ephesus .. those carnal men   in Spiritual matters
