origins of apocalyptic literature

Is there any proof that apocalyptic literature comes from where everyone says it comes from and not from God

I'm no expert, but the best approach might be to read it/them yourself and study to see if they line up with the Scriptures you know and trust.  I did that with the Book of Jasher, and while it is useful in part, I noticed that it is more secular than the Old Testament, and moves God to the background.  Even so, it is referred to twice in the OT.

My feeling about it is this.

There may be other inspired books/letters/histories, etc.

The fact that we have a cannon does not mean nothing else inspired was ever written- it just means those books are established as scripture, inspired by God, breathed through "holy men moved of God" and "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work....

So we have the ruler, the compass, the level, the "Rosetta stone" in a form we can depend upon for confirmation or dismissal of the concepts presented in other writings. A deep familiarity with the Bible is probably the only way to judge whether other writings, in part or in whole- are inspired.
