Revelation 21, after New Jerusalem comes down from heaven God says: "It's finished".

I have decided its all on how we think , our perspective , but mostly , and I say this because I have quit warring with words , It is what the HOLY SPIRIT gives and teaches us and places in our hearts a comfort that ONLY , the Holy Spirit promises and gives and settles it within us ...
We are all "living by faith " not by sight ... Our faith is unto God , but it is our place to share our faith with others whom are poor in Spirit which is truth ...
the Spirit is truth .. and the truth sets us free from the bondage of fear and death ..
to me that is what is of this world .. the lower regions and realms of thought and actions ............
We sure can see the chaos of man running things , and the results of it ... but that is sight , not of faith , to me
And this is why the struggle is so great a thing for believers to ''keep the faith '' and HOPE IN THE ALIVE , to me this is Christ , the anointing of the Holy Spirit and belonging to JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD , the new heaven and earth are by grace , by GODS GRACE and unmerited favor
the old heavens and earth are by the LAW and the letter of the law that kills , making it a sure death to go though , we can never by the law earn grace , in my opinion , the WORD OF GOD declares it , by faith we please God ... no flesh pleases God and it is the carnal mind that wars against the Spirit ....
The HOLY SPIRIT IS described as life and peace , being the mind of Christ ... this is how Christ comes in my opinion and dwells with us in our hearts
because the Kingdom of God is within you ... there are many scripture references to this Living Word ... but we also know it is the letter of the Law that does kill us as the dead in Christ rise first , to me that is a higher realm of thoughts and ways that pleases the LIVING GOD though Jesus Christ in you , greater is He that is in you than in the world ....

A New Heaven and a New Earth
21 Then I saw "a new heaven and a new earth,"[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Look! God's dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
5 He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
6 He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. well...I will share what these scripture speak to me. In regard to the revelation of Christ unto His people...I note Him going forth
to war righteously in our behalf..that the gates of hell prevail not.Delivering from the false prophet,beast and dragon..and our final
testing and proving. the 'camp' of the city He loves surrounded,if you will by all the nations and powers of satan loosed to destroy,
and His promise that 'no weapon formed against you shall succeed"
to me it is the narrative of 'He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world" And His finished work of deliverance of those
who look for His appearance... His ability by the spirit to present spotless and without wrinkle ...a church in agreement with His
heart...a church that can see Him eye to eye.
It is Jesus taking His from the confusion,idolatry,immorality of bablyon..........and purifying,cleansing a people/bride/body
that have been 'born again from above" As the only daughter[church] of her Mother[Jerusalem Above] she is" Thy will be done
on earth,as it is in heaven."
Luke 14;28.......Jesus,whom recieved spirit without measure..and also has power and authority to 'take away all their sin" is saying
'It 'IS" finished' when He pays the debt of sin for all men......and having recieved the spirit without measure..KNOWS HE laid the
foundation stone..and shall also serve as the capstone. Doing the work of His Father...restoration/redemption of His Father's house.

I think of also of how Jesus said "It is finished" ..He paid the price for all, and for the redemption of all creation.. all things will thus be delivered (back) over to the Father and He will be all in all..
(In
revelation twelve, it mentions war in heaven. Most folks believe this occurs late in days, or early in history, but I believe it was after Jesus said "it is finished". Half the redemption was manifest in the world/creation and mankind, so to speak ..don't know if I'm saying that very well.. as it was still "finished"..but also doesn't it say it was finished from the foundation of the world.. I'm thinking as soon as God had the intent.. it was finished.
Then next in Revelation twelve, when the dragon saw he no longer was allowed access to heaven, he was very angry and persecuted (inquisitioned?) the woman/the faith(imo) but she was given the wings of an eagle to go to another place..
How wonderful for us to know "it is finished".. In us! For "He who has begun a good work in us is faithful to carry it out/complete it". And the seal or pledge (oath, notary stamp) of His promise and proof of His ownership of us, is how our heart cries "Father.. my Father..!" Which is the proof of His Spirit (imo, Presence) in our heart. How blessed we are!!
Good thread Lorenzo! How awesome will it be in that day after the very throne of God comes to earth, a new earth in a new universe.. All things made new.. "The lion will eat straw like the ox and the bear will graze with the cow.. a little child can 0play at the entrance to the poisonous snake den"... "Each one will abide under their own vine and fruit tree and no one will bother them.." ..."neither shall they learn war anymore.." large or small.. for "knowledge of the LORD will cover the earth like the waters cover the seas.." ...Hen will be "all in all".. and He "is love"... (all love.. and all beauty.. when peace springs up into joy.. Because He is perfect, can the 'end' result of all this, be anything less than the absolutely best possibility? I believe He is building and establishing an eternal (all space and all time) un-breakable paradise and this is why i believe judgment day for one thing, to be a great day of review, where the knowing of good from evil (life from death,nonlife) will be driven home in all. And etched and engraved deeply upon every heart and mind. {Knowing beyond a doubt that to wander from God can only ever end in a puff of self destructive smoke, for one of the things He is, surely?, is life itself.. the life force. Which ultimately, anyway, nothing can resist. And we know that "it is finished" is not at all difficult for Him. Master builder, etc..
When He hung on the cross He said that first.
The flesh is finished.
The Book of Revelation is Jesus Christos!
That Spirit is given.
Amen, and I think ultimately everything outside of the Spirit of Jesus can only fade and fall away.. (The law of sin and death - aka, law of missing the mark and non-life - and also is the second (natural) law of science? the law of entropy - which is all things fall apart, in life as we presently know it, for all things, presently, are imperfect/miss the mark - G266 "sin" from G264 to "miss the mark"

Its was Saul's time to be changed , and a name change to Paul by the Lord Himself ! and from missing the mark , to run the race and hit the mark of the Higher calling , to come up here and be with the Lord in gathering unto Christ Body [ALIVE IN CHRIST ] above the body of death the lower realm , the souls being Joined in the SPIRIT &LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST ...

For me it is understanding that when Christ says "it is finished" and in Revelation (which is the revealing of Christ) God said "it's finished" ..... they are the same event described in two different ways.
I see the New Jerusalem (city) being the same as its residents (a cloud of witnesses) ..... the heavenly Jerusalem is our mother ... "that which gives birth to a Son" the birth of the Son in us ..... and that this cloud of witnesses testify of the Son in us
We can see this in written form in the written word ..... for it all testifies of Christ ..... it testifies of Him and HIS works
A new heaven and a new earth is like seeing "I will give you a new heart and a new spirit" ..... the new Spirit is for the renewing of the mind in order to fill the new heart (wineskin) with new wine.

He raises us back up
He ascends to the Father with us in Him
